  • Cool video. MTV never showed it enough I thought, but it was at a time that MTV would show at least a few cool videos here and there. I possibly only ever saw it on U-68. Anyone remember that station in the NYC area?

  • @Lancer67 Oh man. Grew up in northern NJ. I totally saw this and the Modern Industry video on U-68. Barely picked it up but it was great.

  • I saw them a few times back in the day, what a group of showmen, they brought a totally wild style to everything they did and they always gave their crowd a 110% effort. Much respect due!

  • i was brought here from the Diabolical Masquerade mix. Youtube has an interesting way of making mixes..

  • Love the new hampshire license plate at 1:30. Brilliant video. Goes without saying, I will, brilliant band... wow, these guys were such a force. Didn't know the same guy directed Nightmare Before... They worked with the Eurythmics, were in a video anyway... I just saw em last week, sadly 3 original members. Still great though. it's kinda sad it seems they got left behind kinda somehow in the mix.

  • this is not who i thought it was, but this is possibly the best thing i have ever accidentally stumbled on.

  • You f****king idiot, Tim Burton wrote and directed Nightmare Before Christmas. If you;re not sure about something better shut up.

  • @MikesSeccondAccount

You should probably follow your own advice then. It's a common misconception that Tim Burton directed NIghtmare Before Christmas but it was, in fact, Henry Selick that direceted it. Tim Burton only wrote and produced the film.

  • @MikesSeccondAccount, Director: Henry Selick

Writers: Tim Burton (story), Michael McDowell (adaptation),

Stars: Danny Elfman, Chris Sarandon and Catherine O'Hara...yeah, following you're own advice would be good.

  • And the world will turn to flowing Pink vapor stew.

  • so this was early ska ??? before the mid 90dys wave

  • @Reborn8303 Ska originated in the late 50s, so this isn't exactly "early"

  • @andreaaluminum o my mistake lol guess i ment before the short eara in the 90dys lol

  • Come to SoCal for the sun the women and the street violence. Oh and for some of the best bud in the world.

  • Are the world gonna blow some shit up?

  • Post Cold War America is A-OK!!

  • Love the song and the video! Understanding the world then was easier with the planet being divided between the U.S.

and the U.S.S.R. Now things are no longer simple. How's that post Cold War world treating you?

  • I can't find this song in the same version that's played on the radio...all of these videos here include extra noises..

    :(

  • I'm curious, how soon after 9/11 did the songs on the "do not play" list become okay to start playing again?

  • @MichaelAvery1 It was the MEDIA who mistakenly used the term "ground zero" for the WTC. It's therm on the surface of the earth directly under an air burst atomic bomb. To answer your question.....it was OK as soon as Dan Rather started giving the 'conspiracy' nut bars a legitimate audience.

  • I wonder what would happen if Reel Big Fish covered this... Would it have the same energy?

  • Sin has just won

    The planet is a crumb

  • Party at ground zero more relevant today then ever. Me being here here in Hawaii we will be partying at ground zero if the call the North Koreans bluff. Nukes are a hell of a way to roast wieners, Happy 4th of July!

  • Doomsday-a-go-go!

  • Don't forget your gun.

  • The video was directed by Henry Selick, the same guy who did "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Coraline."

  • Thanks for the info disneytim!

  • @disneytim yeah uh im pretty sure tim burton directed both of these

  • @master0vid1996 Um, yeah, I've met Henry Selick and I'm very familiar with his work. He directed this video and "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

  • are they at the screening of "a b movie"

  • such a 90s party song =)

  • Such an 80s party song, you mean. The song is from 1985.

  • One of the best and most fun songs ever.

Saw these guys on the "Truth And Soul" tour ('88?) at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver in front of a sold-out 1,000 and they were insanely great.

  • absolutely one of the greatest horn sections of all time!!!

  • amen to that....sadly I have never gotten the chance to see them live. But when I die and go to hell there is a juke box in New York that has EVERY Fishbone album on it and $3 pints of guiness, I hope I land there.

  • @goatsinherkitchen I think they're touring again. I just saw them a week ago. Maybe you'll catch them this time!

  • I love this song :]

  • i remember seeing these guys do a show at Camp Pendleton.....

  • i hate to think but, it is still relavant.

  • Awesome video even by today's standards.

  • Wicked.. thx for uploading
