Zelda Minish Cap Dark Hyrule Castle part D 114

Hey can anyone tell me how to fix a problem Im having with this rom on visualboyadvanced emulator? My file always resets as I walk out of the room (at 0:35 sec) and to the outside of the castle with the whirlwiinds. I put alot of time into this and want to finish the game. Please reply if you have any idea for a solution, thanks!

guys i found this out! If you hit the spark(yellow and red thing that zaps and partorls)

with the boomerang, a fairy will come out!
