Hi, isn't there a better record of this 2nd movement? Of course Furtwängler is good and there are many quite boring records too.However on the other hand Furtwängler is a too triumphal at 6'30" and following minutes!! I like more a personal, teardrop taking approach, like you can get with Erich Kleibers record. Any suggestions for a perfect record of at least that 2nd movement?

@Pippin76 Hi Pipin, you are right. I am looking for a good version of the slow movement (usually the 2nd one, but interchanged in Beethovens 9th).

This adagio from the 9th is one of the, if not the most beautiful piece of music ever written.

Furtwanglers interpretation is sublime.
