my laptops like clciking buttons next to the pad to move the mouse i dunno what they are called, they are basically sort of stuck and i have to click really hard to stop them from being jammed, its like if i click the button and it gets jammed and i move the mouse pad i highlight everything, its a toshiba sattelite like the black chrome one, the silver clickers. yeh well they are fucked, i cant even rest my thumbs on them without clicking because they are now like extra sensative. help!! thanks
CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE I HAVE A TOSHIBA LAPTOP AND I GOT MY MEMORY STICK STUCK INSIDE I WAS WONDERING HOW CAN I TAKE IT OUT DO I NEED TO OPEN IT DO YOU HAVE A VIDEO OF ONE BUT ALSO OF PUTTING BACK TOGETHER THE LAPTOP
Thanks for the video. But with all respect it's very frustrating to watch you explain how to pull out battery, yet leave out the most important bit of this video and that is how to lift up the the top of the base of the touchpad, ie starting with the power cover etc...Coud you please include this?
can you replace both buttons? my buttons look like they are sunken in and do not click. they still work but i'd like to replace them is that possible?
@jellis4465 The only way to fix a track pad is to replace it, if it does not move correctly. Sometimes the wires are loose on the inside, but if that's not it the track pad has to be replaced.
@RawrChromeIpod You likely have damaged the hard drive. The staling is probably it trying to access data in a damaged section of the drive, or the drive having difficulty reading the data. Try doing a test on the drive to verify it (I have a few videos on it), another possibility is something might have been unseated partly like the ram causing timing issues, make sure everything is seated properly.
my left click button fell in an its loose .... do i have to take the whole thing appart ? or is it prossible to pry the top case off ... or can i not do that ?
i have a toshiba laptop, my left click on my mousepad is kinda mushy, i kinda pryed the plastic part up to take a look at it, and its the metal part thats not clicking, its been like that for years, started probably a few weeks after getting it so i dont suppose anything got down in there, any ideas how i should fix?
@timrtz20 Usually when a mouse button is broken like that it's possible to add a hard piece of plastic to the physical button in the laptop to "extend" the reach to the palm rest. That might work in that case, but without seeing a picture it's hard to say.

@mattpryor94 I unfortunately do not have one of those sitting around so I can do it, but when I get one I would be more than happy to.

@BenxTanner depends on each laptop, but chances are you need to take the whole top casing off.
