  • Thumps up if you came here while ypu are searching how its made

  • but i dont have a house

  • Nice but unpractical for most home users. Cost of mold materials and the other supplies make it cost more then buying a single unit. Now if you are going into production and are making multiple units that's another story. The more units you make the better your production profits become.

  • thats effort.

  • I couldn't tell from the video, but since you didn't fill the first half all the way up, it seems you've lost the detail from the bottom of the bowl, and it ended up just being flat? Or was the original bowl the same way?

  • That is clever

  • Absolutely brilliant, well done.

  • Thank you for creating a straight forward, easy to understand, unbiased educational video. This is probably the best advertising tool out there. Like barrycondicasting said, "You guys actually show someone how to do something without tooting your own horn". Thanks!!

  • WHY would you dislike this video?!?

  • I've ordered products directly off the Smooth-On website - easy;

    shipping was quick with UPS.

Products worked exactly like the data sheet said & I'm happy with the results of my mold.

  • Smooth-On rules! You guys actually show someone how to do something without tooting your own horn. Your video library is incredible. Thanks for making a difference.

  • I am wondering, how long does it take to have the mold ready (including the waiting time for it to dry) and for the concrete replica of the original model to be made?

  • @d4nish1234 This is a multi-day process. Each half of the mold should cure overnight.

  • Very nice, but what do you do at the bottom of the sink where the hole is. It looked pretty thin. Thanks

  • What is the recipe mix for the concrete and how would you make a granite finish.

  • @sfasilver I would recommend contacting the folks on the concretecountertops forum for some advice.

  • lovely Video ! TNX for sharing !

  • Great video guys. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!! Kudos!

  • I HAVE AN ULTRA RARE SIDE LENS OF AN OLD CAR THAT I WOULDNT MIND DUPLICATING WHAT RESIN DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR AUTOMBILE LENSES?

  • @JohnnyDesaint We have a resin called Crystal Clear which I would recommend - search for 'red bus project' on smoothon.com for more info!

  • @SmoothOnInc LOOKED BUT COULDNT FIND "RED BUS GALLERY"I TRIED 1411 AND IT DOESNT HARDEN ENOUGH TO USE....MUCK TO FLEXABLE SUCKS I PAID ABOUT $150 BUCKS.OH WELL

  • @JohnnyDesaint Search for 'red buses gallery' on our site for more info on using our crystal clear resin for your application.

SmoothOn, IN & OUT is the way to go for rubber molds.

  • Thank you SmoothOn. We're planning to use some moldmaking products in our nonprofit to offer opportunities. We show a mold in our video.

  • really good video ,do you know where i can find the products to make some rubber molds, i mean the yellow product.

  • @NELODOMI1 Check out our website - smoothon.com - search for 'vytaflex'

  • what came first? the basin or the mold?

  • I absolutely LOVE the process. However, the way you crosscut your melamine on the table saw is a kickback recipe for disaster. Please be safe.

  • excellent.great posting
