Hi Dave , just a quick question for you, I am working on Dual 90 mm EDF project and the question is since I have 2 motors will i use 2 speed controllers and will I need 2 slots in the transmitter each ESC or how does that work ? thanks a lot !
i know this video is kinda old, but please help me, i have the exact same dx6 r controler you have, how can i get a switch on the left or right to make both the flaps go down?
please where can I buy the complete Radio control gear.. meaning all the inside... motor, servos, battery, speed comtoller and the Radio itself... please, intend to built my own plane... please...
and i use it to fly my sukhoi SU-26M and what i like is that my DX6i doesnt have a problem with channels so ya can fly 2 planes of the same model, same tansmitter, and same reciever at the same time with no problems
I been doing this since 1985, wish they had YouTube then. hand built balsawood, super glue, mono coat. Now they have ARF and electric motors, good advise on the radio, buy the best you can afford. The plane is cheap. I ended up with a 9 channel JR. all I will ever need. plus you can use trainer cords to teach beginners and save them some cash with them
i just purchased a yellow bee rc plane it is a two channel beginner i was wonderin if this is a good plane? if you could resond and tell me if it is sturdy.. an easy fly... and a fun plane to own. thanks!
@spunkflunk You WILL crash it often at first. As you get better, though, crashes get far and few between. I have been flying nitro for nearly 30 years. I started when I was 10 and planted my share as I learned. Now I have wo airplanes I have been flying for about 14 years each.
@spunkflunk Dont worry you can practice on an RC Simulator and then you can crash as many times as you want for free..... You MUST practice first on the sims first. otherwise you will crash. See daves other videos on Sims
Help Dave please reply tohis comment my dad thinks I'm an arse for buying an rc plane but I really like them what's the best beginners rc plane to get please answer

sir we crashed our plane... one cell of our LiPo battery is showing 0V, one is loosing voltage now having about 2.3V and other is having 3.7V.... what should we do??? is it safe to keep battery or to send it through courier???plz reply quickly...
sir, i wanna ask that we got our plane crashed in first flight...... nw two cells of our LiPo battery are showing voltage of 3.7 & 3.8 V but third cell is showing 0 V.... is that cell damaged???? would it be safe to charge it??? our e-sky balancer charger is showing red light on and green light flashing when we try to charge it....
Why didn't I find this video before. Damn. I wasted ages figuring this stuff out for myself lol. Awesome series though. Will be following the rest of it for sure :D
Tip to everyone that this guy didnt really mention about servos what hes saying about crashing is when you get a high tec advanced servo and crash you dont shock your servo because it has servo saver on the horn very handy I recommend one
Really good vid but i dont agree with the 2 year foam life. I have had my Hobbyzone super cub for about 3 years now and so has my friend. They both have been through a lot of crashes some really bad ones and all u need is foam safe epoxy and go back flying.
Does your receiver model have to match up with your radio model (like you have to match the brands)? Or can you use one radio for any brand of receivers within the same frequency range? Some one please help haha. Thanks.
in one of your vedios you mhad a book for sale about rc planes in how install the electronics and how to modify your plane. Well anyways i was just wondering how i could purchase that book.

people just click the link to his website in the description for alot of answers to your questions. He obviously doesn't have the time to monitor this to answer questions.
I'm just starting. I got a Dx5e radio and 3 servos. I bought a wing and motor/gearbox and built a plane. It flew reasonably well but I crashed it till it broke. I just built a tougher one which is stable like the first but it's heavy so it has to fly fast. I just crashed it a couple of times today. Is there a decent easy foam design I could build at home and use my own electronics?
thanks for bring us all in on your knowledge it is very helpful and you also make learning fun with your videos of you and your friends i also just got back into rc planes i bought the fms first and practiced for about a week and tried alot of high skill manuevers to get a feel for the controls and how to hold the plane still and keep it where i want it and landings so thankyou again keep the fun coming
This is really helpful, I'm looking at buying a plane like the one you were showing for this and I think when it crashes I will just buy a body, and lol at the end you said "Err yeah, and I hope that was helpless...." lol
Im doing a glider and im wondering how to connect the battery without an esc?? "Just plug it straight into the reciever" and so i did and busted the 100$ bit..-.- Ive bought a bec i, believe its called, to make the 7.4volt 2celll lipo a 5v output but still i dont see how the bits should be connected. I dont wanna burn off my new reciever.. Maybe do a video on how to connect battery to reciever without exc? i connot be the only one with this problem.
Thanks! Thanks for a real Informative video!

Patrick2636 2 years ago
One channel per function, so 2ch = up/down and left/right for maybe sailing.
ChrisOHenning 2 years ago
no this means it can go up/down ( 1st channel )
AND go left/right ( 2nd channel ) for example.
but 2 ch is formerly for cars and boats.
you need at least 3 ch in a plane for throttle, up/down and left/right.
the channel for throttle isn't like the other ones.
the others are normaly at the middle 50% up and 50% down, throttle iss normaly at 0% and goes until 100% . so you have the whole range in one direction.
casemodder89 2 years ago
2ch usually have two engines, and they just slow one and throttle the other one to turn.
THeir aerodynamic is fixed, so that when you throttle it, it goes up..

This is really helpful, I'm looking at buying a plane like the one you were showing for this and I think when it crashes I will just buy a body, and lol at the end you said "Err yeah, and I hope that was helpless...." lol

Hey. Great and fun videos!
