  • Very pretty...

  • moonshine makes it happy

  • What a wonderful video :)

  • the moon was moving back and fourth really fast 2night it was really trippy made me look for this video to see if this had happen before wtf is going on i think sprit in the sky would go good with this video also

  • Pretty darn good for not using a tripod!

    Nice audio too!

  • the moon is moving realy fast tonight :S anyone know why?

  • please, die.

  • What kind of camera are you using

  • A Sanyo Xacti HD 1000. It's a hi-def camera but this wasn't in hi-def mode.

  • That was very soothing. It's what I do on the back porch at night. Love the moon...

  • Thanks Ruth! Every so often I look up at this same spot to try and refilm this with a tripod. I've never seen quite as good a combination of moon clouds and wind since though:(

  • saw this with related videos and believe yours to be more tasteful. I refer to 'Night wind in tree' on my channel. I will look over more of your work. Again, well done.

  • Thanks howes1960. The look of the moon/clouds/trees really seemed to be kinda special that particular night and I just had to take a video of it. Plus the air had a certain fresh balmy feel to it which made it pleasant to be outside. I wish I'd used a tripod for it though.

  • awesome check out The Aussie Cup

  • Pretty..:D

  • y'know, i have a hypothies, i think there's different breeds of werewolf, and that each of them is summoned forth at a certain moon image, if you look closly at full moon, you'll see it has a different image on it every time you see it...want to hear the ones i've recorded so far?

  • Nice!

    Incompetech...lol!

  • Thanks phae:))) I keep meaning to branch out a little more on the music but I have the majority of the incompetech tunes already downloaded onto my computer so at the moment it's more convienent to use music from there even though, ya it's been overused to death.

  • I think I did this one, too. It's nice and

    mo-oo-dy.

  • That was very nice, Blink. Very pleasing to look at and to hear. The music fit in wonderfully with the sounds of the wind in the trees.

  • Thanks Petuniabelle!!! Next time I'll use a tripod however.

  • Nice visuals! Methinks there is something addictive about filming the moon. Of course, I'm always without tripod and isn't that just so hard to hold it still while pointing upwards? Biggest faux pas was when my friend set up a tripod years ago to shoot the SHOWER of shooting stars. So magnificent, but he forgot to put film in the cam!

  • Thanks Liz! Yes, there was an outbreak of full moon videos with this moon, LOL. A tripod is almost a must with this because things get so shaky when you zoom in. Too bad about missing the shooting stars. Oddly enough anytime I go outside at night to view a predicted event such as that I never seem to see anything:(

  • a group of us drove in my RV over a hundred miles to get out into the country on a mountain ridge. Away from city lights does it better, yu know (you're not in a city, tho, methinks) There must have been thousands; it was spectacular, and oh to have had my vid cam back then! Keep lookin, Blinkz; tiz so worthwhile :)

  • Nice atmosphere, but obviously a tripod would have helped. I think I would have switched to manual mode too and set the focus to infinity and exposed less to get more detail in the moon - the trees made all the difference, and would probably still be in focus at infinity if you didn't zoom in too much. But that's easy for me to say in retrospect I guess.

  • Ya manual focus would have been better because I really liked it better when the trees were in focus but they kept drifting in and out of focus. To tell the truth I never fool around with my settings much on my camera so it's hard to make spur of the moment changes like that when I'm not all that familiar with the settings.

  • Beautiful shot!

  • Thanks MR!!!

  • do you have adsense on your channel if you do then you can get a banner on your page

  • Ya I know. I just haven't gotten around to making one yet. I haven't made one for my channel page yet either.

  • nice one.. I'm yet to film the moon.. at least the one up in the sky.. :)

  • LOL @ the thoughts of a GnuMoon:)))

  • Pretty cool, Blink... Sadly, it's still not warm enough here to stand outside for that long to film anything.

    :-)

  • From everything I've heard this winter has been quite a bit worse in the northern states than the last several. Spring is around the corner though!!! You're pretty far up there so it might be around 2 corners, LOL.

  • Weird thing is we have a similar effect here with the English moon sometimes. When I set the tripod though the damn thing keeps running away.

  • Ahhh, you need to outfit your tripod with some sort of GPS system it would seem, LOL.

  • That's pretty cool Blink. Look spooky bit awesome at the same time. People pay big money for those effects. Considering you didn't have a tripod it worked out really good.

  • Thanks Pip!!! So how's the weight gain going? I recommend Moose Tracks ice cream and Pizza:)))

  • Lovin the ice cream, and mega chocolate, burritos, Huge breakfasts, it's all great! lol I'm happy with a bit more fat on my face was looking pretty haggard, and of course I'm not complaining about the extra Boobage ROFL!

  • Be careful there. You don't want to wind up looking like that woman who Hippified1 directed us to in that one video, LOL.

  • EErie

  • Spelled backwards is Eiree. Well, OK it doesn't look quite the same but it *sounds* the same, LOL. Thansk Dorotwhy!

  • Oh, I do love you :O)

  • Thanks dorotwhy!!!

  • i love watching the moon and stars, love and respect scotty and libby:0)

  • Thanks Scotty and Libby!!!

  • the clouds across the moon are so eerie!!

you have a steadier hand than i do filming the moon without a tripod, i shake and bump and jiggle the whole time and the footage is then worthless.

    nice vid, blink ;)

  • Thanks Robin! I thought I was pretty shaky but it looks like most the commentors are shakier than me:) I'm still not going to be pouring any nitroglycerine from one container to another though, LOL.

  • Ok i have sky video from yesterdays wind too. I think alot of us for some reason were looking UP in the last few days! Great Moon, my all time favorite satellite! Lovely

  • Thanks Cookie:) Yep, the moon rules. Even better than the "Georgia Satellites", LOL.

  • That was pretty darn good without a tripod!

  • Thanks Bean!!! Hopefully one day I can get a similiar shot with a tripod and do as many as 5 or 6 slow zoom in's.

  • Considering you didn't use a tripod, that was really well done. You must have very steady hands.

    Nice video :)

  • Thanks Andy!!! I held the camera in one hand and gripped my wrist with the other hand. If it hadn't made things too difficult I would have liked to at least kneel down on one knee and prop my elbow on the other knee.

  • Ah hah! Another naturally occuring special effect! ;-)

  • Yep, my camera is possessed I tell ya, LOL. The first part of it where the moon appeared to grow and shrink was certainly a naturally occuring special effect!

  • very cool! Thanks, Grams

  • Thanks Grams!!!

  • The skies fascinate me! Nice vid :)

  • Me too!!! Actually I did a moon vid over a year ago. I guess that'll do me for another year unless I see something truly strange going on up there, LOL.

  • MIKMA WAS HERE

  • Hi there Mikma!!!

  • Robert, this is so beautiful!!! I love how you were able to get the trees in the extreme forefront...that was what I originally wanted in mine but they were too high up. Loved this with the clouds too!! Very cool!!! Looks like a scene from a scary movie...hehehe

  • Thanks Mic:) I filmed this 1 or 2 days ago. Actually I hadn't planned on posting it since the camerawork was a little shaky but when I saw your vid I thought it would make a good response. I'll definately be using a tripod if I'm ever lucky enough to get the same moon/wind/clouds/tree combination. It doesn't happen very often though, LOL. I was torn between the music I used and some spooky music, LOL.

  • nice effect blink

  • Thanks Doug!!!

  • I filmed a herd of deer walking past me yesterday perhaps I should vid response it to this eh?

  • That would be great PappyStu!!!

  • okay will do

  • Yea it would have been very kewl if you'd had a tripod but still good to watch... But then you know I love filming this kind of stuff...

  • I'm not going to be so lazy about retrieving my tripod the next time. I've also been thinking about buying a monopod which would have it's uses and in *some* situations be more convienent.

  • Yea they are handy too I hear but never tried one...

  • I'm always tryinng to get the moon on film but it never looks righ, not even the full moon. I love the contrast between the bush and the moving clouds. very nice!

  • Thanks Furni:) Ya, I was hoping the *tree* would stay in focus a little better but it seemed to drift in and out of focus.

  • Loverly.

  • Thanks foundonline!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • Thanks mybugaboo!!!

  • very cool Blinky, I really liked this. The hearbeat at the start was used very appropriately.

  • Thanks FroGhandi! I could have probably played around with the heartbeat and got it a little bit better in synch but it would have taken too long.

  • Good shots Blinky. Congrats on the partnership.

  • Thanks Carol!!!

  • Some really nice shots, Blinky

  • Thanks Marc!!!

  • LOL I was watching squiggmonster's spamming contest, this is a nice break.

  • Hehehe, I'll have to go check that out!!!

  • I feel like a cruising teenager.. every where I turn tonight I'm being mooned :)

    Nota

  • LOL, OhCurt was just mentioning the YouTubian outbreak of full moon vids this evening:))) Well be sure and wear some protection in that back seat there. We wouldn't want any unplanned newly minted little Trolls haunting the underpasses, LOL.

  • :)Ben wasn't planned.. but he was handmade

  • Believe it or not, this is the third full moon video I've watched in the last 20 minutes.

I'm not complaining, mind you. Just giving you a heads up if in MY next video you observe any odd behavior (like you'd be able to tell the difference).

  • Yikes!!! You're a glutton for punishment, LOL. Well if you've got any werewolf blood in ya at all you should regrow a little hair on top of your head soon! Another thought is in the past when all dem durn UFO's have visited it was before the advent of YouTube and none of upstanding citizenry who reported them were totin' cameras. Those UFO's better watch out now cuz if they start doing nilly willy flyby's theze gonna be on YouTube:))) (The anal probings might violate TOS though:)))

  • full moon eyy

    *howls*

  • AAAAHWHOOOOOO!!!! (I'm sure I probably spelled that wrong, LOL)

  • nice video...

    -Darrell

  • Thanks Darrell!!!

  • That was way cool!

    Dianne

  • Thanks Dianne!!! I just happened to go out to my van to get something that night and noticed how cool it looked. I just had to film it. I wasn't sure how well it would translate to a video but it was certainly cool in person.
