Now heres an easier way to shut down a computer using Windows Vista. First find a hammer then use it properly. Second get a computer with 7 or xp or even mac.

I use my pc to get xbox live. The reason I am saying that is because whenever I download a demo or something it can take up to six hours to be complete. I try putting my pc on sleep I get disconnected from xbox live therefore not dowloading the demo/add on whatever. Is there a way to like save energy but still be able to get what I need?

Close the Top of the laptop or Click Hiberante or Sleep etc. XD

@WindowsVista1337 sometimes settings may be set up so that it wont go to sleep when you close the top i do this cus my comptuer has alot of glitches when it comes out of sleep and god you commented this a year ago i wonder what youll think when you read this.

Like many others, I'm a less then satisfied Vista user. More on that later. But I own several (3) systems with Vista and (2) XP

(1) 98. ? Sleep-Mode ? What is different with Vista vs XP everyone knows sleep mode in XP was not a good idea! Thanks John.
