how u be knowing he play th right chord when he gots his radio so high ? maybe he play a g#minor when g#minor7-5 be the one in the song my peoples not fooled by this sucka
@BrotherOfLove84 Hey Brother, if you're not happy, do your own homework! I for one love this guy for getting me in the right area. I love to play but don't have the best ear so these videos help me get going on songs much faster. If it doesn't sound right to you when you play it, work out what does. Isn't that half the fun of playing?
it be my pleasure that I got a legit question no body know how to answer even th man himself- privetricker. my quuestion gots him turn into alittle snot nose girl
@BrotherOfLove84 Any requests beyond what PT already does in his videos are ridiculous... If you're having a little trouble, how about you suck it up and actually putting a little effort into playing your damn guitar? Everything you need is right literally right in front of you. This man spoils us as it is, show some gratitude.
awesome stuff!!! any chance of a solo? I can't seem to get that down. Love the Gretsch btw, beautiful guitar. Wish the left handed versions weren't so pricey. Rock on \m/
Im a 63 year old guitar player. Still play in a band. You sure do a lot of stuff i heard when I was a kid. Your lessons a re a great help. If you get a chance how about the lead solo's to that song. Thanks
If I play it right; it sounds like a song. I don't need to play the CD to fortify my song.
If your videos are intended more as instructional, rather than covers; it would be helpful to call-out the names of the chords as you play the chords. The camera angle is best from above or even better from your left side. From your left side, you won't need to use as much of the screen to get both hands in the picture. Because of this, it will allow you to place the camera closer. Thanks !
@SnakeEyesAndSevens If you can't follow what he's playing in this video you have no right to tell him what to do. Basic second position chords for the most part.
@SnakeEyesAndSevens I'm sure it would be even more helpful if I came to your house and explained everything in person. But I'm not going to do that, either.
@privettricker some peoples children! cant figure out a damn thing for themselves has to be handed to them on a silver platter keep on keepen on privettricker
You act as if I had called you a dirty-name or said you were doing something wrong. My original comment was offered as ADVICE for IMPROVMENT, if indeed your videos were intended as instructional. Would my suggestions NOT make improvment ?
Is it not the same for you, as it is for me; when I play the song right, it sounds like a song; the CD is not needed to make it sound like a song - how says you privettricker ?
@SnakeEyesAndSevens You said I need the CDs "to fortify my playing." I don't take kindly to pretentious bulls***. Your suggestions might make an improvement for YOU to learn songs from my channel. This is how I record my videos. If you can't learn from my videos the way they are, there are tons of other people posting instructional videos, and you're probably better off watching them.
..." Your suggestions might make an improvement for YOU to learn songs from my channel."...
This isn't about me, or me ever expecting anything from you, privettricker, and it never was. If you were a better reader, you would know this. More importantly, why can't you express yourself without acting like you've just been un-fairly kicked in the pants ?
Like an over inflated balloon, so are some people's ego; the slightest bit of friction will make it burst.
I think people are being a little harsh on @SnakeEyesAndSevens. I don't think chords should be "called out", but whether the viewer would find them helpful depends on their playing ability. The lighting and camera angle are clear and privettricker's guitar has fret markers, so a player with some experience should find it easy to pick up, but a barre chord beginner might find it helpful to have the chord names available too.
@SnakeEyesAndSevens Do you realize how annoying it would be for him to call out the chords as he plays them? Who has ever done that, even in an instructional video? Also, most of his songs are basic open or 2nd position chords. If you can't learn from just watching the video, you're not at the level you need to be to learn straight away from a video. Lastly, he posts tutorials on most of his harder-to-play songs, so I don't know what you're babbling about. I like the CD's too.
I agree the bass is ALL OVER the place but some how it fits (I've been guilty of the same crime), probably the chemicals played a part....I dunno......LOL!

And in response to @SnakeEyesAndSevens's request for chords: as far as I can tell the first verse is:
| F#m | B | F#m | F#m | x2
First chorus is:
| A E | F#m B | x3
then "you'd better find..." is:
| A B | F#m | B | F#m | E |
