I don't think anyone wants them home more then they're own families, let alone themselves. Anybody has better things to do with their time then be at war, especially one that has dragged on as long and as expensively as this one.
No man. Their families miss them but they are also proud of them because they think they are "fighting the good fight". They want there kids to come home, so long as someone else's son or daughter is sent to Iraq to replace them and continue fighting the "war on terror". This is the problem. No one sees the big picture. Maybe these guys had to join the army due to social disadvantage or whatever, but nobody made them to committ the acts they did in Abu Ghraib, Falluja, etc. Think about that!
