Terrible for cold weather, and in Canada you would be a bear kabob!!! Maybe for the jungle sure but honesty for thr price you pay for that, better off buying a nice big sheet of canvas for a hammock and a tarp for walmart lol. Thats roughneck style. Yuppies...

Perplexing. It seems designed for the tropics, warm/hot weather, not cold weather. Even title shows "JUNGLE". Was the BCB FOX JUNGLE SLEEP SYSTEM actually used in that cold weather? Was something else more suited to cold weather used the night of your arrival "...around midnight..."? The video implies you DID use this tropical sleep system in cold weather; it does not show/mention a different shelter used instead. It looks like you used the wrong shelter, BUT I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE THAT.

@Timothyk11 The shelter was set up in a larger area for you to see it clearly, i have used this system in cold weather yes, i use a homemade under blanket for insulation. Hammocks can be used in any weather as long as you insulate yourself from the weather. and i always get to camp around that time thank you very much!

Thats very good equipment for every possible journey. I couldnt think of better equipment if i should sleep in the jungle. Hopefully you dont loose it on you way through the jungle, or need some of the stuff for other things. I like the cover thing (mosquito net).

Nice vid, but I couldn't here a thing you said while you were on the hammock. You obviously talked all the time, but music was so loud that your speech coudn't be heard.

BCB make some ok stuff they also make some junk. If your sleeping cold either the system sucks or sorry your doing it wrong, do you not use an insulating layer inside the hammock? I know alot of people rave about hammocks and I'm sure they're great for summer but I'll never give up my rollmat! ;o)

they dont make 'junk' they make stuff that average civilians cant use as they make kit for soldiers most kit is made from feedback gathered from battle grounds
