Lol you're not missing the point of the video, he did say "it doesn't matter what clan you're in", also according to Madara and the databook Itachi is Sasuke's most important/closest/dearest person (depending on translators) and I think it's safe to assume the same for Itachi. Yeah, ItaSasu is canon :D

P.S. Itachi's and Sasuke's mutual love was mentioned quite a bit in the new fanbook :D
