Beautiful vocals, great voice control and I love this version. It has added life to an old song. Danny is such an awesome singer! I can't wait for his single on December 22 and his cd in march.
So... yes, when Danny's calls wouldn't go through, we voted for Kris. How else does one retaliate against a TV show? It wasn't planned or organized. It was an automatic response of angry people. And obviously the majority liked the type of music Kris does, better than what Adam does. And it was fair to vote Kris. We liked him more than the alternative.
Any one in the Wisconsin area codes can tell you all why Danny 'lost'. Their calls were bumped! No one could make more than 20 calls in the whole time allotted to vote. The blogs were full of the complaints. If you looked up the contract between contestants and A I ,it states that they reserve the right to accept or reject any calls as they see fit. I guess Adam's win was more important than truthfulness. Calls to Kris & Adam went through! Go figure.
Someone told me it was because he was in college and had a hugh band of ruthless, tech savvy, competitive people power voting for him. I know Lambert did for sure, if you google his name and power voting tons of stuff comes up. Well that is if they left it up. If not, i have hard copies to prove it. Actually Kris won over Lambert, because they marginally beat out Danny the week before, and now Danny's fans voted for Kris.

Kris' tech savvy, in their competitive years, university brothers and sisters, knew this, as did Adam's tech savvy friends, who advertised such in their well organized hype network. I don' t think that all of Danny's fans were angels but i do think they might have been more moral and less techy.

Danny has incredible vocals. He has an "ole school" soul. I mean to say he has great style to mix Jazz, blues& soul, and of course his true strength, which is his faith. This season was tough for me, I liked too many so that I didn't vote right away. I wanted Adam, Danny, and Kris. They all came in the top three, not the order I would have liked, but I don't think any order would have gone wrong. They'll make CD's and then the real winner will be decided based on sales. Look at past seasons, who really won:Chris Daughtry or Taylor Hicks? There ARE things in this world that ARE life or death, who wins A.I. is not one of them... HELLO?!? Reality is calling.

Danny has incredible vocals. He has an "ole school" soul. I mean to say he has great style to mix Jazz, blues& soul, and of course his true strength, which is his faith. It is AWSOME to hear a young voice that has a clean heart felt message these days... I wish Danny much success for many years to come.

Natural born talent + Parents cultivating a singing background = what we have today. A musical prodigy that has the most control over his voice that i have seen for years. When he sings he belts it out with that voice and all the feeling in the words makes for a magical performance each time.

This season was tough for me, I liked too many so that I didn't vote right away. I wanted Adam, Danny, and Kris. They all came in the top three, not the order I would have liked, but I don't think any order would have gone wrong. They'll make CD's and then the real winner will be decided based on sales. Look at past seasons, who really won:Chris Daughtry or Taylor Hicks? There ARE things in this world that ARE life or death, who wins A.I. is not one of them... HELLO?!? Reality is calling.

I personally think Danny is a really good, soulful singer and he was consistently good throughout the entire Idol Season 8, never in "The Bottom Three." I know a good voice when I hear it. I actually thought the top ten were all really great singers (except Megan and Lil didn't have the best vocals). Danny possesses all the qualities of a true American Idol.
