That's kind of ironic. You don't believe in the Doctrines of Election but the first video I saw in you 'favorites' section is Paul Washer, a huge proponent of Sovereign Grace. Not trying to start another fruitless debate but Election is all throughout Scripture, OT and NT. It is one of the most beautiful doctrines. It gives God 100% of the glory for Salvation.

Matthew 10:22 doesn't contradict Election. Endurance is evidence of Election. If you disagree w/ Election fine. But don't stereotype without studying and understanding what it is we believe. We are not fatalists and we are not making up excuses to sin. The great Awakening was started by "calvinists" (Edwards and Whitefield). Edwards was a missionary to the Native Americans. Spurgeon, Washer, Macarthur, Piper. All teach Election. All put heavy emphasis on evangelism and holy living.
