Well, why would I bring up movies that have nothing to do with what the video is about? My comment was meant to concisely get my point across; that I hold a dim view of this film in lieu of it's superior original version, not that a diatribe against horror movie remakes in general, which are decidedly bad. Modern (horror) movies in general suck. I honestly couldn't tell you a film that I saw released within the last ten years that was truly a masterpiece. Hollywood is dying.

How come you don't piss on the old school horror remakes like The Thing and The Fly or Blob? what made those remakes different? and would you compare 1972's movie of this to modern stuff like Hostel or Saw?
