On the tab what do the notes in the 'usable combinations' section represent? I understand that those are notes you can play over the chord but not sure where they come from as some of the notes are not in the chord and I don't recognise them as being the blues scale. Just trying to work all of this out in my head!
I got your first e-book a couple of years ago and it's still keeping me quiet!
I demonstrate this in the video starting at 2.00; it all sounds perfectly good to my ears
Don't limit your thinking to : this is not in the scale or chord so I cant play it....
There are probably technical and theoretical explanations to this but those are beyond my knowledge and to tell you the truth : I don't care.
Many of the old blues guys, whom I studied for more than 35 years, did crazy unexplainable things...they let their ears decide and that's how I approach this too.
