no disrespect to The Smiths - i loved the Smiths (still do!) - but Morrissey's stuff since the end of the Smiths has been his best! especially this album, Southpaw Grammar!
nothing against Morrissey's brilliant vocals, but my favorite part of the song begins at 2:37...whenever I am out running to this song, I start running at a faster pace...it is soooo motivating!
I love this part too. I listened to the studio version on my headset 5x in a row yesterday to here it in it's entirety, and it is an excellent song. From 2:37, that part of the song repeats iteslf 4x and it is beautiful.
I agree! I cannot believe how intense the last part of this song is! What a gem! I wrote this song off a few years ago and when I started shuffling my Mozzer list on my iPod, I feel in love with the song and kicked myself for not getting into it years ago! You're right, my good friend. You seem like a great lad!
