The problems that I had with "Flashbacks" was the weak way they handled young Joes relationship with Jodhi May's character. It was simply never developed and the way her character's death was handled was by far the weakest in the movie. I would love to have seen some more dialogue between the characters in order to flesh out why the much older woman felt a need to be ravished by much younger boys. Too damn bad, it would've have made it a great film, imo.
