John Paul II was an honourable and righteous man. I believe all Jews, myself included, deeply respect and cherish his memory.

Benedict, on the other hand, is a squalid and evil man.

I remember this. I was only a kid, but I do remember this. We lived in Japan at time and as jewish people, we did cry. Pope John Paul II was one of the most honourable human beings who ever lived. I remember mom crying at this moment. We've always kept deep respect to other religions and certainly are hopeful about peace and coexistence between the people of God! Shalom. Amen.

Aw, absolutely. Pope John Paul II was one in a few of great human beings who have come to this life. And as jewish I do say I very much admire, respect and like him and his work, since he was a pilgrim of peace and his legacy is all about love.
