  • I love this song, always brings tears to my eyes thinking about my Edna. John

  • what key is he singing this in?

  • thanks for the upload.

  • That was just beautiful! What an amazing voice<3

  • When he sings with half his voice, he is the most appealing. His richness, power, and range appeals to the purist, but he can live in both worlds, pop and classic. On the one hand, he has the sensitivity and touch that can impart every syllable as it was meant to be; perhaps it is the Welsh feeling of Poetry and sound that makes it so special; but at the same time he can fill the air with a rare power and depth if he needs to. But the mezzo voce ending is brilliantly done.

  • @griffcats .Tthank you, that just about sums up the amazing talent that is Rhydian. I've always said he's pretty unique in that he's actually an amazing clasical/opera singer who can sing 'pop' convincingly. Terfel, Bocelli, Pavarotti, Domingo et al can't, for all their 'amazingness' in their genre.

  • if he d sung this on x factor final night ...he d ve won ....simple as that

  • really

    great voice

just his voice is enough for his introduction........

  • His ability of expressing emotions through songs with his voice is absolutely brilliant.

  • my great grandma loved him. Someone took a woman that deserved to stay on this earth alot longer. Her funeral song<3333 RIP GRANDMA 4SEPT'10.

i love you, you were the best person in the world.. this song brings me to tears all of the time.xxxxxxxxx

  • great sensitive voice that make you feel every word, great artist, I think that he is an artist of all time.

  • As a 100% Josh groban fan to the core i fully admit this version is miles and miles better. This is m least fave josh song, but Rhydian has made me really like it......Good Job Rhyd!!!!

  • @Sparrowsraven06 its great but lets not carried away .....

  • Rhydian's voice is breath-takingly beautiful :)

  • Who would have thought Leon Jackson beat this guy? Rhydian is so much better

  • great voice like so many other singers from Wales. Much more power and range than Josh Groban. Still, with this being said, no male vocalist can compare to David Phelps who i believe may be the best of all times.

  • we all love him, especially my great grandma who passed away on the 4th september 2010, rip grandma you were the closest person i had and i will never forget the memories i had with you.. her funeral song<33333333xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

  • I bought his C.D.Album, Everytime I hear this song it brings forth such emotion. Memories of my Parents

  • this was played at my mothers funeral 3 wks ago damn that was hard listening to this again

  • I neally fall asleep watching him live :/

  • Wow!

I loved this song when Josh sang it, but Rhydian is so, so much better, so much more emotions and depth he is able to reflect through this song.

My new love afair is Rhydian!

  • I have chosen this version for my funeral - one of the songs anyway.

  • I LOVE Josh Groban's rendition of this song but Rhydian just made me cry. His voice is so full of passion and emotion. something that Josh didn't have when he made this song . sorry Josh but Rhydian owns this song now

  • Beautiful, but I think I still think I prefer Josh Groban over him. Though they are both very similar.

  • According to Rhydian himself he's classed as a baritone

  • He seems to be able to sing baritone and tenor but anyway he is miles better than Josh Groban.

  • both are baritone. josh is just a lighter baritone. (trust me i checked) i'm no vocal expert or singer but, i think both of them doing this as a duet would be wonderful, or any duet for that matter. rhydian's deeper powerful baritone with josh's lighter reminicent-like baritone....

  • love you grandad r.i.p x x x <3 amber x x x x x x xthis is our song to you

  • Josh is a baritone,. Rhydian is a tenor. You have top appreciate the differences between their voices before you appreciate the separate interpretations.

This is more pulled back and not as belted at full volume as Josh does. Which is Josh's mistake with a lot of things - he thinks volume equals passion/interpretation.

    It doesn't.

  • I'm pretty sure Rhydian is a baritone, I could be wrong but I think he is

  • Love Rhydian, exceptional voice

  • I just listened to this on my cd in the car on my way home. I suddenly found myself in tears. He is wonderful. I can't wait for the next album.x

  • @funkychicken49 - You were in tears, you've gotta be kidding? Now with, Trail In Life by Dean Brody - That I can see.

  • He's a new Josh Groban

  • I am taking a humanist funeral service this afternoon and the family have chosen this as one of the songs. Have just listened to the lyrics and now understand why they chose it. Fab! Just like Rhydian

  • According to the gmtv website this is Rhydian's new single and he will perform it live in the gmtv studios on 11/3/09. A single? I didn't think Syco were releasing an actual single from this album (which is a shame IMO) but we will see what happens.

  • My friend sent me this as my Mum died 2wks ago ,this is beautiful ,I can hardly read the lyrics though through my tears!!
