  • I'm sure thats pretty close to 25k ,we tow backhoes on similar trailers at work with dodge on tons so nothing to impressive here

  • Sell the dodge, and buy a better camera.

  • I think people need to look up GVW's on that Dodge because it was the 4500/5500 series which are 17-19,000 lb trucks, and that trailer was over 10,000 lbs

  • if that really was 25k lbs then that ford would have blown up

only chevy and gmc can tow that much

  • @TheDieseltrucker and your an idiot Gm has the lowest tow capacity of the big 3 you dumb shit 21,700lbs to be exact

  • @TheDieseltrucker cevys are wortless fords will out pull any cevy all day long

  • it is 25,000 lbs. it'a a towing module.. they aredragging part of that trailer to simulate weight.. i wonder if it come in a stick..

  • @andyjensen91 No... EPA says we can't have them anymore...

  • @kleetus92 Really? your a retard, thinking the EPA... never-mind I'm not even gonna bother going into why America has little to no Manual shift cars anymore, have you seen how badly most Americans drive an automatic and you want to give them a Manual?

  • @adamslurch71 Wow... just wow... I suppose they put that cute little tank of DEF on there just because they thought it would be cool to add a completely separate fluid delivery system to the truck because it wasn't complex or expensive enough.

    Fucking liberal asshole...

You're correct at least in saying that most people can't drive, but I would hope to God that if you're attempting to move 25k you *might* know how to drive something bigger than a prius.

  • I think standard transmissions are better than automatic, what about y'all

  • @STXB24 FUCK YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ugh! why did they quit putting the manual in the fords! Now I will never own one :( :(

    and that truck is NICE

  • must be a damn heavy rock in the back of that dodge to get to 25k must be made out of the chevy that imploded tryin this before the ford

  • @bobwatters Could have been some melted down 6.0 and 6.4 powerstrokes that shit out. LOL Only a matter of time before this 6.7 turns out to be a disaster as well.

  • I pull 28000 with my dodge single rear wheel 3500 whats the big deal here?

  • @MotelCambodia and the dodge is being towed because it probly couldn't handle it

  • @oney135 it cant and never will

  • now as we hook the trailer to the dodge and the ford on the trailer we will find out that the dodge can do the exact same, and thats no where near 12 1/2 tons

  • People think this is a big deal. I had a customer in 2005 That drove his Dodge 2WD 1 ton 5.9 Cummins state to state with a car hauling that was well over 35,000lbs. If a 60,000lbs truck with all the hype of Ford cant pull 25,000lbs I would be very worried. Its bad enough Ford customers were gullible enough to come back after their new truck blew an engine the first time.

  • that looks right ford haulin a piece of shit cummins

  • @mrclaytonio, wow listen to this guy, someone life must suck. Maybe its because half of it is spent waiting on the side the road because he drives a Ford... Its sure easy to tell who on the net doesnt do research on engines...

  • @MG42pillbox hay look has no life an fights on youtube

  • @mrclaytonio Reality sucks I know.. Just like in the 30s when Henry Ford was financing Hitlers Nati Party... They still never could make anything reliable, but people grew up with them, and people will believe what they want to. No matter if they continue to copy Dodge year after year...

  • @MG42pillbox shit head, Dodge and Chevy copy Ford year after year you goddamn jackass

  • @countrydude03 thats why dodge doesent have a dual turbo, and never will, and thats why dodge looks alot better, and always will, and dodge is a better truck, and always will be!

  • @MotoX179 Dodge is onl good with Cummins, it be shjit without it. thnaks to Ford, Dodge is stil livin. guess ya havent own all 3 trucks did ya?

  • @mrclaytonio HAHAH thats why cummins is the most reliable motor put into a light HD pickup.

  • @mrclaytonio and it gets the best fuel economy, its got more than enough power, and its the most reliable.

  • Notbad, but you say dodge is rated at 18350, by 91 rated at 11500 hit the NC state scales 32457lbs. Pulled it all day long at 55mph getting around 10mpg and it had 300k miles on it then. The question really is why do you want to pull a 25k load 75-80mph getting 5mpg when you cant stop it. go ahead and say thats whats trailer brakes are for dummy, yeah never had problems with electric brakes have yeah.

  • @ddguire no, dodge could not do that easily, they are only rated to tow up to 18,350 lbs, dodge has the least amount of HP and torque, this would not be easy for it to do. It could do it, but not as easy as the ford.

  • @09FordFX4 I drive 2003 sterling Tri-axle dump truck. It has A Cat C-12 with 390hp and 1650 lb-ft of twist. That truck's GVWR is 80,000lbs. I would love to see ANY 400 HP pick-up move that everyday, reliably for 365000 miles and still going

  • @jnk26 ok, cool, you drive a way stronger truck, with way more torque, obviously it will be able to do more. im not saying the Ford is the strongest thing out there, but for trucks in it's class, it's the strongest.

  • @09FordFX4 I'm sorry if that sounded bad. I own an 1994 f150 and love it to death..I have yet to drive any 2011's. My dislike is this hp war with diesels that cost $7500+ one would think that they build engines around reliablity. "There is no replacement for disp[acement" 400hp from 6.7 litres should equal 760 hp from the cat C-12 and 960 hp from a Volvo D-16. Those number are possible but not reliable.

  • @jnk26 just to continue the point(ran out of space). Hp is just a a number, a figure. Torque x Engine Rpm devided by 5,252 (2000lb-ft x 1600 RPM = 3,200,000/5,252 = 609. 29169 Horsepower. Its not real you can't measure it. The auto industry has changed the way its calc a few times (Net vs SAE). The jap brands have perposely calculated this wrong to boost their hp figures Honda and Toyota. If you do the math you will see

    550lb-ft x 6000/5252=628HP eg.454

    2061lb-ft x 1600/5252=628HP eg DD S60

  • @jnk26 Yeah, i see your point, i think it will be a fairly strong engine, ford wanted to do it right after the nightmare navstar created with the 6.0 litre, so i think they made sure it would last, they had a test engine going for 250,000 miles, no problems, however after that im not sure how it would last. the transmission can handle the power and torque easily, which is good. lets hope its as reliable as the old 7.3, if it is ford has a real winner on their hands.

  • @09FordFX4 navistar didn't creat a nightmare. Ford pushed the 6.0 litre into production to quickly. The Variable Geometry Turbo (adjustable vanes) dosen't agree with higher sulphur content diesel fuel back then(now 0.0015% ULSD). If you look into it Navi had that engine in 2001 4200 and 4300 trucks, with a regular turbo no issues. Then again that class of truck has different emissions requirements. Now about the EGR cooler clogging, that was a combi of hi sulphur fuel and a heavy foot . more

  • @09FordFX4The only real downfall of the 6 litre is the 4 vpc, because they arent truly 4 vpc. The in and exh valves are bridged so there is only one push-rod for each. this in turn causes wear on the sides of the valve stems then poor valve sealing(350,000 miles). There are many issues with the 6 litre, but most of them stem from abuse, neglect, or operating outside the original design peramiters(tuners, mods). Back to what was saying about HP. there are way more issues with the 6 litre is the

  • @09FordFX4 f series(325 hp 570 lb-ft) than the e series(235 hp 440lb-ft). The more power you squeeze out of an engine the less life in the engine (b50 life). I could go on for ever about engines and transmissions and trucks

  • all i see is a ford pulling a dodge on a trailer

  • @14polaris14 with a big ass chunk of sandstone in the back.

  • @14polaris14 Nothing odd about that if you ask me.

  • There was no Dodge...it was towing another F450 with a flat bed, plus a trailer long enough would weigh 25k# easily.

  • @TKPerformance704

    dude thats a dodge 4500....

  • @TKPerformance704 It was pulling a dodge, are you stupid?

  • gay

  • @K2sb20033 Well that probably wasn't 25k but fords can pull very strong, i have put mine on a scale with a trailer and it came out to be 43k and it was pulling strong with no problem.

  • @izai2 sorry but no, no pickup can do that.

  • Just tested one tonight nice but what a price tag wow toooooo much for me I will keep my 07 Cummins

  • Smart tow the Dodge so when that Ford breaks you get the Dodge down and tow the Ford

  • @dieselruss cept the dodge is already broken : \

  • I could have pulled that trailer better with my walk behind lawnmower for fuck sakes!

  • That load don't look anywhere near 25,000 !

  • @Oviner123 Oh yea it is!

  • @Oviner123 um did u not see the rock on the back of the dodge? Id say its pretty close to that weight

  • @Slatestonellc no way that was a heavy load but not 25k...the truck 7k the rock 5k and the trailer 3k so maybe 15k to 17k tops and im a diehard Ford guy.

  • @Oviner123 Well lets guess the dodge probly weighs 7000lbs and the rock 300lbs and the trailer 3000-2500lbs so about 9800lbs

  • @gold1108 300 pounds of rock?... Are you a fucking moron? That rock likely weights 3 tons.

  • @C1u3z I was just guessing you little whore and if you think I'm making fun of Ford go fuck yourself and actully the dodge is like 10,000lbs the rock 4000lbs the trailer guessing 8,000lbs. So about 22,000lbs

  • @gold1108 that rock is wayyy more than two tons. figure at least 150 lbs per cubic foot (granite is 167) and that would make a 4000 pound rock 26 cubic feet, or a cube less than 3 feet high.

  • @Oviner123 dual tandem goosenecks like that are heavy as hell. Mine weighs in at 10pounds and its a bit smaller than that one. Throw in the cab and chassis dodge with the dump bed etc and you would see 25k is not hard to reach.

  • @Oviner123 really??? trailer- 8,500, Dodge truck 8,500, Boulder-7,000 = 24,000 lbs

  • @Oviner123 Did you happen to notice the rock in the back of the truck loaded on the trailer?

Though i would say the trailer is closer to 20,000 lbs

  • @Oviner123 the bucket on the back and the trailer can be lik 10,000 pounds

  • @Oviner123 do u not see the big ass boulder on the bed of the dodge?

  • @Oviner123 truck:8000.

trailer: probably 5 k or more.

im guessing the load on the bed of the dodge was the difference

  • @Oviner123 poor little dodge was just too tuckered out.

  • @Oviner123 the rock on the dodge probably weighs more than both of those trucks man. those boulders are heavy.

  • @Oviner123 thats the towing capacity dipshit
