a better way to save 36 dollars is buy only one mouse pad and cut it in 4 equal sqrares and tape it to the middle of ur pads then ding ur done :) thx for the mouse pad idea tho bud im using it atm

You could just return your drum kit and get a more responsive one. Then you won't have to make your drum kit look ridiculous. They have tweaked their instruments now, I recently got the RB1 drum kit and I am fortunate that so far, I am not getting any unregistered notes.

He's at the "Organ Intro" part of the song "Won't Get Fooled Again"... he can beat on the drums like you can in a normal run of this song(any song for that matter), until the notes come on the screen.

Do you have an El or a QM set? I have an El and I have heard this mod doesn't help the El set at all.

That was a QM...it doesn't work on most EL's, but some it does.

Just some advice, you could take scissors and cut the excess pad off so it's a circle, looks better that way. Just some advice.

i did this, but the pads dont register most of the hits. i tried hitting harder, and cracked my yellow pad. any tips what to do?

The only thing I can think of is just get a replacement set, or wait for the rock band 2 drums.

the best is to use spray adhesive it peels off when u need it to and it won't slip off ever when u don't want it to

i white glued my pads on, with white glue it will scrape RIGH off with no residue, LOL. yeah this really improves your rebound and it silences them veryyyy good, def pick up some mouse pads if you have the chance

If you get good mouse pads it will. The ones I used were cheap old ones I found laying around my house, but they still work, and make it a little quieter.

this is the same thing i did. only i cut mine to fit right on the drums, and i glued them down (they work so im not gunna take them off), and put the rubber bands from my sock mod over them...

Having the sock mod and the mouse pad mod doesn't really do anything. They both accomplish the same thing.

no, i took off the sock mod, when i got the mouse pads. i just used the rubber bands that i was using, instead of the tape.
