they weren't drunk. the person had blood drawn and it came back negative for everything. reporters jumped on the drunk driver bandwagon before they ever knew.
@clintimel If they weren't under the influence of anything, why did that happen? No matter what way you look at, it's either drunk driving or reckless driving. There is no defending that.
Duard was an officer back in the 1940's in Waynesville Mo. he was a big man and they used him to bring in the really big, bad, tough guys.
Drunks need to stay off the roads.
If this guy rescued children then he should not have to serve prison time but go into a long very serious treatment program. He should not be driving for awhile. That is up to the Judge...
drunk drivers might not be angels, but the damn popo donut man aint GOD either. i personally witnessed this person rescue at least two infants from a burning house a couple of years back.
The cop went through the intersection at a good clip, seemed like he was doing about 55 or 60. Speed limit on that street is no more than 45. Why weren't his emergency lights on? Maybe if he was going the speed limit he could of reacted in time. What if that were a kid on a bicycle and not a car? I think police cars should have speed limiters on them that restrict the speed of the car unless authorized to speed, so dumbasses like this don't think they're above the law.
no according to reporters he was going fifty down the road and as you can see the drunks were sitting there adn when he came up on em then they turned dont make it look like the cops fault they were drunk and they deserved whatever they get all drunks need to be taken off the road i say dwi is a bull s**t thing ur license should be gone forever if u drive drunk
