I know their are alot of people comparing both Cobus and Chaser. In my opinion Cobus is better. When i watch chaser , hes very accurate and is a good drummer .. but cobus has that little extra something that makes him a great drummer , hes much more creative than chaser. Im not spreading hate .. just my honest opinion.

@lfcbenitez123 cobus is a groove guy, which leads to improvisation and such. Chaserr is a hardcore metal guy. He doesn't use the toms much, so there really isn't much choice for him. But no offense to Cobus, most of his stuff are basic. As a drummer, chaserr is WAY better. As a musician, its the other way around.

He is having fun and getting into the song. I'd rather see someone hit the drum a little hard than hit it like a pussy. Keep playing man, that is also a cool drum kit.

yes it is a bell. zil-bel 8 inch made by zildjian im pretty sure. sabian have one called an ice bell? i think? *shrug* and yes you usually have a felt or rubber spacer seperating the bell from the ride/crash (w/e one you have it on) or you could damage one or both of the cymbals.

In my honest opinion, Chaser plays this closer to the exact song than Cobus does. Cobus adds a bunch more effects in places teh song originally doesn't have it. That by no means says one sucks or is better than the other, it just means peoples' opinions will reflect on what they prefer. In this point, I like hearing something of the original so I can extract how the instrument sounds better than by ear with lyrics, bass, lead and rhythm guitars.

cobus is as gilamunja says, more technical. chaser's style is in my opinion a dirtier style. cobus drums clean and pays attention to technical details. personally i prefer chaser's style, as i play death metal/ post hardcore etc. if you see cobus's covers, though he's good, he tends to overdo it, and sounds too saturated. some songs do not place too much emphasis on drums, so it's importang to know when to tone down a little.
