Top Cat - Grade 3 Piano Piece

Too smooth. This is a kind of jazz or swing piece. Notes should be more uneven and the staccato should be more 'sharper'.

Hi All, age really doesn't matter. I am 55 and taking grade 3 in March. But, I really love to play and get a lot of enjoyment out of learning pieces. So for all you 'younger people', don't get put off by grades, its how you feel. x

i dont know why people keep acting so high and mighty because they can play piano at a higher grade at a younger age, there is always going to be someone better, someone better then them aswell. im doing grade 3 at the moment and im 12 and who cares it is about the music not the person playing it, and for the record i though you played it beautifully

It is a touch slow, but I like the swing beat you had going on, it was more expressive than usual.

i worked out by the beats per minute and the number of bars that it should last 47 seconds, so youre only playing it a tiny bit too slow

you played the quavers in bar eight all wrong!! thye aren't supposed to be swung and it even says in the book to play them straight! im doing this piece to its really fun!

its too jazzy its not actually meant to be like that its meant to flow but if u ewant it too sound jazzy but not weird just play at TOP speed lol
