  • wow look at the old compound, it looks naked

  • Nice video series on the G20. Thanks.

  • I like watching the brass bounce off the table

  • 10mm rapid fire with consistent hits at medium and long ranges. You are dangerous man ... I want to be just like you when I grow up :)

  • Comment removed

  • i baught this gun after i watched this video and he is rite, extreamly accurate and easy to handle i went out to 100 yard and shot at a 25 iron plate and was still hitting it, pretty badass not gonna lie

  • @44twizzler tell my something, what you mean "easy to handle" use any weapon is so difficult ? if using firearms is difficult for you you are totally idiot, any weapon is very easy to handle not only Glock because there is no operating system like Windows, MAC os X in firearms.

  • @alexander90023

Come out of mama's basement and get some sunlight instead of playing video games all day. Then you may begin to understand the differences in guns.,

  • Chuck Carwan, before he passed away (RIP), told me when I told him the G20 is my favorite defense gun, that it was his favorite as well. Chuck knew a great caliber and gun platform when he saw it!

  • I have had one of these for about 16 years and love it. It is a great gun and thanks for your great gun reviews hicko45

  • Starting to warm up to Glocks, in a big way, thanks to this video!

  • how close is the 10mm in power to the 44mag?

  • @MrGlock55 10mm is definitely not as powerful as a .44mag. I'd say it's pretty comparable to a .357mag though.

  • @cmitsou83

No, it easily exceeds .357 Magnum. It's ballistically similar to .41 Magnum, though the revolver round has more of a 'top end' in terms of of loadings.

  • esta solo este señor!!!!

  • my dad wants one of these

  • @cardinalmustang99 all dads want one of these!

  • And full auto? :D

  • pick up my 20sf new years eve

  • Hikok, I was watching your video.. and around 0:50 - 0:56 on the video..there was a couple of ricochets right down by your feet! just an FYI..it could be the concussion but it looks like ricochet

  • how much does one of these cost at a gun shop i can get 1 for 100 but i want to get a license to cary it around

  • this wouldn't be too powerful for a first time pistol user would it?

  • @charg2456 no, if you've never shot one of the pussy calibers you will get used to it and it would feel natural. Then if you ever decide to get a 1911 or some other gun it will feel like a .22.

  • Was this model the 20C or standard 20? Any comments on the differences? I had a Colt Delta and sold it... Really want a replacement and prefer something other than 1911 style this time. !!

  • I have one and it seems that the heavy frame actually helps hold down muzzle rise. It's a sweet shooting pistol. Got it from a guy in a money bind and will be trading it for a Glock 30 at a show this weekend cause I really don't want it but take my word for it, it's a helluva pistol. If you don't have fairly large hands you might want to think about another model though. Great video hickok45 (as usual!)

  • Awesome shooting, I'm about to purchase one of the for protection in and out of the woods. Is 569 a good price for a brand new glock 20?

Also, you might want to think about some barrier, from the looks of those leaves in front of you, your bullets almost found their original exit lol. Happy shooting. Nice vid

  • @jvell thats about what a new glock costs

  • Idk recoil doesnt look that bad from video but hey what do I know!

  • In Greenland they use Glock 20 for polar bear protection.

    Powerful !

  • hey hickok...is 10mm readily available and if so how much does it cost?

  • This may be a dumb question I'm new to fire arms, I will be going camping and I wanted an ammo with the best stopping power ie a BEAR or a big wild animal with a Glock 19

any advice would be appreciated I currently have Speer gold dot JHP 124 short barrel, I didnt realize I purchased short barrel is this a liability?

  • @europa speer gold dots +p are what i keep in my glock 17. never shot a bear with my 17 but I'd feel comfortable with my 17 against one. more about shot placement than raw power.

  • @europa 9mm NOT good for a bear, a .357 magnum .10mm 44 magnum or if you can handle it a .500 magnum, a 9mm is going to just piss him off

  • This old man is a fuckin badass

  • 80 yards? that's awesome

  • I went with the Glock 31 in 357SIG caliber (2nd most powerful gun that Glock makes ?). The grip ion the 10mm was just too big for me to control easily.

  • my friend really wants this as his first gun cause of this video, he likes the way this glock sounds. you gotta admit that sounds mean. hes gonna shoot my glock 17 first though.

  • Is this in a different location than you use now? Because the landscape does look quite different in the newer videos.

  • how you get all those guns :-)

  • i wish i could fire in my backyard

  • You mess with Hickok, you mess with Chuck Norris dad :-D

  • what are your thoughts on heavier, aftermarket springs(for the 20 10mm), helpful with durability or does it decrease reliability? any advice would be helpful. keep up the excellent videos!

  • @TheArroyoG I recommend Sprinco, about $80 delivered. Noticeable reduction in felt recoil and the 2 stage spring stops the slide from slamming into the frame hopefully reducing wear.

  • How many rounds to a mag?

  • @maxinator53 15 + 1. Its a real hand cannon. Death is inevitable.

  • have you seen fps russia

  • .40 and 9x19 are weaker

  • Man, you sure do make the recoil of that beast look eassssyyyy ;)

  • In my opinion, one of the best guns you can get for the dollar. 15 rounds of 10mm! What powerhouse!

  • I also noticed the ricochets and saw that you told people to see FAQ video on the subject. I watched a couple of them, but couldn't find information on the ricochets. I was wondering what FAQ number, or what title it's under. Anybody know?

  • Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it, but what kind of ammo are you shooting in this video?

  • when the zombies attack i am coming to your compound hickok45!!!! :)

  • @usmc2076 Probably wouldnt let you. + its not the zombies you need to worry about.

    Read some Thomas Jefferson.

  • @japimportssuck it was a joke...the scary thing is being scared of the goverment is NOT a joke.....these days its VERY serious.

  • Love your videos and really love my Glock 20, especially since I found 10 mm ammo for $15 a box!

  • Why do you think 10mm has not been as popular as other autoloader rounds? Recoil???

  • Comment removed

  • @malib0osted lol

  • That's one badass old dude!!!

  • you forgot your intro, Hickok here! thanks for you vids I just picked up the ED brown Kobra carry and the glock 20

  • you forgot your intro, Hickok here!

  • Hello Hickok ! Just wondering which is Your dominate eye ? Thanks for all Your videos, Big Fan of You And Glock I have 10 in my arsenal now just purchased a G29 and cant wait to shoot it ! Trigger7593 out

  • Look at those ejected casings fly...it's like a brass rainbow!

I wonder if that's ever a problem for the police or military. Not Glocks specifically, but if you have a bunch of guys standing around each other shooting, surely they must get smacked with the casings quite a bit!

Anyone have any experience with this?

  • That is some of the damned finest Ten shooting I've ever seen- hands down!! Outstanding, Sir!!

    Semper Fi!!

  • Glocks are neat. I was allowed to shoot a 9mm one at an indoor range. First time shooting a handgun and a nice one for shooting with one hand.

  • That ritard that posted about the glocks and metal detectors is certifiable*......As if the entire slide and internals aren't metal and would probably make it through an airport scanner or xray or any detection devices made after the turn of the 20th century....blows my mind.....keep shooting

  • I've seen tons of pistol shoots but wow how far are you shooting the furthest target it looks a long ways away I might have to get one of these if its that accurate

  • How high do you have to hold to make those 82 yard shots?

  • Question: Hey hickok45, I love your videos man. I just purchased a Glock 20, and I am trying to find a suitable round for personal protection and hunting. I was intrigued by double tap's 180gr JHP, their ballistics look great but I have heard they didn't live up to their mfg. velocity and kinetic energy. I would like to know your personal opinion if they are a good round for my considered applications, and since they are considered a hot round, will they do damage to my glock barrel? Thanks!!

  • @fieldx200 get a 9x25mm dillon drop in barrel for your glock 20 if you wanna shoot a real gun.

  • @jefallijay I will have to look into that, thanks man..

  • @fieldx200 ya no problem, i got one for my glock 20 and i shoot 90grain hornady xtp's, its an amazing round, it sounds like shooting a rifle outta ur handgun. if u ever do get it, lemme know, i can help you with reloading for 9x25mm dillon if you are a reloader.

  • The leaves moving is from the vortex ring coming out of the barrel. The expanding charge creates a pressure ring when it leaves the barrel (looks like a smoke ring but it's just pressure) and it expands outward and hits the leaves.

  • Hey Hickok, I was wondering what holster you use?

  • To bad the ammo can only be found on the internet; I'm still geting one.

  • @ 0:52 you see ricochet in the leaves near him

  • @social3ngin33rin, See FAQ video on that.

  • @hickok45 jeez man seeing the way you handled that recoil i gotta say the FBI are pussies for turning down the bren ten

  • @social3ngin33rin Yea man that thing was near deadly let us pray this never happens again.... do you only have experience in squirt guns?

  • @social3ngin33rin

Haven't seen his FAQ video, but looks like it may be the cartridges bouncing of the table.

  • I think it is great that your second video, Hickock, is one of a Glock 20! Makes me chuckle. It's my overall favorite.

  • Nice videos hickock45, interesting and entertaining at the same time.

    You're the best

    around,

no one's ever gonna shoot you down

    you're the best... around...

  • that shit sounds good lol

  • any one else notice the leaves moving right in front of hickok between 51 and 55 second mark? is that shrapnel coming back?

  • Just a quick thought about all those who believe that guns should be banned. How do you people intend on enforcing this law? I would love to see anyone come and try to take my guns away let alone any lawful gun owner in this country. Who agrees?

  • I would totally get this gun if 10mm ammo were more readily available where I live.

  • @buffalosoldier90 , I trust you are somewhere around the age of 6 or 7, so we'll forgive your ignorance this time. Please do some reading, and maybe some "living," too. :-) Things will improve as you mature; you'll see a whole new world out here at some point.

  • @hickok45 r maybe he is 1 of those white guys that drive around in a minivan

  • @hickok45 so, the more power the gun have, less accurate? I mean, it seems easier to hit the target with a 9mm than a .50 AE, for example

  • @hickok45 just wondering but how many guns do you have?

  • @buffalosoldier90 if you dont like glock pistols then don't watch videos on them. That is a pretty simple concept for you to grasp i hope.

  • @buffalosoldier90 lol. glocks use metal and its only a myth that they can pass under a metal detector undetected. the pressure that these guns operate on would make the plastic explode if it was truly made out of plastic. im not yelling at you, im just trying to help you better understand. besides people want this guns for various reasons such as - a police duty weapon, home defense, bear defense, hunting or just to shoot at a range. i hope this helped.

  • @buffalosoldier90 you're an idiot! Glocks are not completely made of plastic for one thing the slide and magazine are metal!

  • @buffalosoldier90

Ugh...not another liberal retard that believes everything they hear on the mainstream media. You people make me sick.

  • @buffalosoldier90 You're mistaking it with the Glock 7 from Die Hard 2... ;) (erm... the fuck? Get yourself trustworthy sources.. or would you believe in Santa Claus again if she would tell you he exists?)

  • @Adonis969 Again? He never stopped believing! xD

  • @buffalosoldier90

    :) Wow! :)

  • @buffalosoldier90 You should try it out for your upcoming school science projects just to be sure.

  • @buffalosoldier90 LOL what the fuck??? the slide of the glock is metal the barrel is metal the spring is metal alot of other stuff on the gun is metal. The only thing that's plastic is the frame the trigger the magazine and the guide rod. The gun won't ever slip through metal detectors unless the metal detector is off or broken. Don't forget bullets are made of metal too. How old are you???

  • @cjdistheman1 my mistake the magazine is plastic and metal

  • @cjdistheman1 I'm 33 and more educated than you ever will be.

  • @buffalosoldier90 you make yourself sound more stupid everytime you reply. One you don't even know how old I am, second age you can't distinguish you smarter then another person because you're 33 you can be a redneck low life with no education for all I know. Age is just a number my friend and I'm much older than you are. You're a funny guy and why did you even bring up "EDUCATION" this whole time we are talking about glocks not how smart you are or how old you are??? Very Pathetic of you boy

  • @buffalosoldier90 if you would have done your research you would have know that glocks are not made from all plastic, and they CANNOT slip through metal detectors.and there is not one gun company out there that is profiting from death, guns are just tools and a tool will do its job only when forced to do so,NOT ON ITS OWN!! and as far as Rachel Maddow, shes part of the media and that makes her non-trustworthy,and destroys her credibility sorry, and im 21 btw and know more than u ever will sorry. :)

  • @buffalosoldier90 that is hands down the dumbest statement i have ever herd -.-

  • @buffalosoldier90

    ...troll...

  • @buffalosoldier90 do you realise how stupid this statment actually sounds

  • @buffalosoldier90 you know what makes me sick...dumb bastards like you who dont know what theyre talking about making asses of themselves by attacking a perfectly legal enterprise. your probably around 12 years old and your mum finally let you get a youtube account...so let me make this simple.....glock does not "profit from death" know your facts before you you embarrass yourself

  • @buffalosoldier90 Made out of plastic? Maybe at the dollar store. I understand the ignorance though. You were getting your information from Rachel Maddow.

  • @buffalosoldier90

Calm down , calm down, no need to put the caps lock on.

  • Comment removed

  • @buffalosoldier90 sounds like they dont know much about glocks they have a lot of metal in them so they cant pass through metal detectors please research before making a false statement have a nice day

  • @buffalosoldier90

That's right, they did. The plastics in question include steel, however. Plastic is a property opposed to elastic. You probably meant synthetic polymer plastics, though, such as nylon, PTFE and so on. Again, you are mistaken in your belief that it is made completely from polymers or that the reason for doing so is avoiding detection. You might at least try looking at reliable sources before spouting obvious stupidity.

  • i have a semi-stupid question. can the 20 chamber 40 s&w? how many modifications are necessary to use 40 s&w rounds? how about 357 sig? since the sig is basically compatible with the 40 s&w, with a change of barrel of course. please answer thank you.

  • @llammapalluzza , you can fire .40 S&W in the 10mm, but I don't think it's recommended. It's puts extra pressure on the extractor since the round won't headspace in the chamber the same as a 10mm case. I would assume you can shoot .357 Sig if you change out the barrel. Don't know if you'd have magazine issues or not.

  • @hickok45 sweet, thanks for replying

  • @hickok45 My father shoots 200 gr out of his 40 cal brass. Just necked out farther. They shoot great, no problems. group nice too. Hard Cast 200 gr.

  • @hickok45 You only need a conversion barrel, about $130 delivered for the Lone Wolf brand. The G20 mags work fine with .40 rounds.

  • @llammapalluzza Never do that with a semi-auto pistol. You can do that with a revolver though.

  • how does one locate the FAQ's?

  • i envy u mr h i really wish that i could have the money to shoot like that u r awsum and thank u for the vid

  • OKAY, i need to ask you how you handled that 10mm caliber that i seemed like your shooting a 22LR, how do you hold that gun? aint it suppose to be bad on recoil? please explain in detail i would like to know how you do it. im considering a glock 20-, thanks

  • I use my G20 with Double Tap WFNGC 230gr for pig hunting in CA. so yes, I think you can easily use it for coyote hunting.

As Hickok says... you have to shoot it and decide for yourself if the G20 is the gun for you. One thing I will say is if you have small hands then look at the G20SF, the G20 has a pretty large grip when compared to other models. My 5'3" 115lb girlfriend can shoot the G20 but only for about 3-4 shots before it becomes an issue due to grip size.

  • I was wondering if the glock 20 would be good for hunting coyotes? zombie Santa gave me some Christmas money before you shot him. haha

  • Hey hickok45 i have a para ordnance p14 45 lda hicap double stack does it have the same recoil more or less as a glock 20 ? hope to hear from you thanks .

  • Hey hickok45 i have a para ordnance p14 45 lda hicap double stack does it have the same recoil more or less as a glock 20 ? thank you

  • I have a glock 20C with a stainless guide rod and a 20LB spring. With full power ammo I'm slinging brass about 20ft, but the recoil feels like a 230gr 45acp to me.

I was HIGHLY shocked to find the 10mm having a lot less snap and a lot more push than I thought. In any case, I'd rather be shooting hot 180gr 10mm all day than 155gr 40S&W... Those damn 155gr 40S&W are painful.

  • So the 10mm is stronger than the 45?

  • @MrBladeDude

they are about equal, just the 10mm has a LOT more penetration, which is why it never really caught on.

  • @MrBladeDude The 10mm Auto can deliver about 2 times the energy to target when compared to standard .45 ACP. Even with .45 ACP+P cartridge just cannot match it in terms of power. You can think of the 10mm Auto as the .357 Magnum of auto loaders. The powers and bullet weights are almost identical at the top end (180 to 200 grain hot-rod loads) and can be found in .38 Special/.40 S&W powers as well. Very versatile for defense or hunting.

  • @klmmicro Ty

  • @MrBladeDude

Faster but almost always lighter. A lot faster, though, in that case. .45 ACP is a wider cartridge with a wider bullet (that is what the numbers are measuring - barrel width) but the usual loading for .45 ACP is 230 grains at about 900 ft/s; in 10 mm Auto a common loading is 180 grains at about 1,100 ft/s however most enthusiasts will shoot something more like 200 grains at 1,200 ft/s (or lighter HP bullets at much greater speeds).

  • Wow what a good shot you are! You must have been a sniper or special forces or something in the 40s right? RESPECT! :D

  • Whoa look at the richochets at 0:52 and 0:54 hiting on the ground in front of him.

  • @pacsum , Wow, it's a miracle the guy is still alive!!!! See FAQ video on this subject.

  • @hickok45 if those were to hit you. will the bullet have enough energy to do any considerable damage.

  • @pacsum lol relax, it would probably be in the same league of annoyance as brass bouncing off your head if one of those were to come back and hit him.

  • @pacsum the richochets your seeing is the muzzel blast

  • @pacsum the richochets your seeing is the muzzel blast

  • Sweet, sweet gun music!

  • You're a pretty good shot man. Remind me to never try and break in your house, lol. Greetings from Oklahoma.

  • how much does a box of just regular copper jacketed 10mm run for?

  • thats gonna b my first gun

  • @captainprice4827 Id suggest you get something cheeper to feed so you can shoot more.

  • @G50Mrvl like 9mm

  • @captainprice4827 a 9mm would be good, id suggest get a 226 with a .22 slide conversion if your budget allows.

  • i was sold on a glock 21 till i saw this. the specs on that 10mm have always intrigued me. i just hope there's one at the tulsa gun show this november. thanks hickok45

  • Where those ricochet @ :50 ? Love your vids hickok. I could watch them all day. Peace and best wishes to you buddy.

  • to ricochets 13" in front of you @ 00:50 - 00.56. how is the recoil comparing the 21 to 30?

  • I like how there is a delay on the 80 meter gong.

  • great video!!! check out drsjr1969 here on youtube for 10mm testing with the glock 20 with several diffrent ammo's.

  • @1Shiznit , Not sure; I think they are both pretty easy to shoot well. I like them both.

  • @hickok45 Hey hickok nice videos ive enjoyed your review on the doubletap 10mm 230 hard cast good for carrying for hunting ive wanted a glock 20 since march got one this october after i saved up some cash im gona carry it while hunting now

  • wooow

  • hey hickok45, i love my g20 .considering buying a g29 . does this have a whole lot more kick?

  • @hunter112261 , Not that much more.

  • @hickok45

Is this glock 20 is little too powerful for combat you know defends youself from

    people?

They all said it suitable for hunting but not told that it also for general defensive?

I think i fall in love with glock 20 its powerful i love and it doesn't kicks much too!

Maybe i'll choose this over glock 19.

  • @brainysnaeha , If you shoot a lot, it's not too powerful at all. The Glock really absorbs the recoil very well. It's pleasant to shoot. For someone who does not shoot much, I'd not necessarily recommend it, though.

  • @hickok45

That's fine i'm not shooting things that often definitely not as

    much as you.

I'm still looking for first handgun of glock which one that

    you recommend?

This G-20 is definitely one of my most favorite

but i see you kinda more like glock 22.

  • Luckily the terrorist doesn't have to face this guy...

  • @dwadenuke Why not, I wish they did. I think an army of old bastards like this guy could bring some hurt to the enemy.

  • at 0:52 and 0:55, was that ricochet hitting the grass beneath you?

  • @mo4life123 , See FAQs.

  • Great video, sir! Thanks for posting.

  • hey hickhok,iv heard lots of people say the 10mm recoil is that of a 357 mag. is this true??

  • @santanoreal1096 , I don't know. Maybe - it depends on the size and weight of the guns being shot.

  • @santanoreal1096

I don't know, but 10mm is made to fit the firepower between

    .357 magnum and .44 magnum.

    So that's one powerful caliber.

I think G-20 is one of the best 10mm loader handgun out there

because of its polymer frame really reduces the recoil so

it not differs much compared to .45 when it's glock 20.

  • @brainysnaeha hey thanks for the info! im used to shooting my 357 magnum and the recoil aint bad whatsoever. so i was looking to buy a 10mm, the only real drawback is how much ammmo cost lol
