Go to deathclaw promontory as soon as you leave that house so you have to cross the map and kill a ton of deathclaws you get a 10mm pistol that can handle anything

I highly recommend allocating some points to either Speech or Barter, you're really going to need either one, or both. I prefer pumping both up pretty quickly in the beginning, makes the game so much easier in many situations. At least before u enter Vegas (60 Speech for Benny really makes a difference in the game).

In comparison to FO3, FNV is shite. FO3's atmosphere was just so much more immersive. BUT! BUT! As an old-west fanboy, I fucking loved this game!
