cirrhosis is a terminal illness meaning you have zero chance to live and no chance for a liver transplant because you destroyed your liver from alcohol , thats just the rules.
Why on earth is alcohol considered "traditional" and an integral part of "social custom" when it has the potential to absolutely fucking obliterate the human body? And I'm made to feel like some sort of druggy for smoking the odd joint every once in a while?! Un believable when was the last stoner you heard of with cirrhosis, stomach ulcers, pancreatitis, hepatitis, oesophagal varices etc etc etc???I think you'll find never.
@stoxocube18 unfortunatly there are some other factors which can destroy the liver in the same way as alkohol, atleast this guy had not showed much hepatic encephalopathy.
I can't quite figure out the the layout to this house. There's an outside wall, complete with exterior lighting and an intact window. It might be helpful for the camera to pan the surroundings a bit, so as to orient the viewer a tad better. Good video though; always nice to see people having fun. A practicing drunk might not take it seriously - but I suspect a glutton would. Where can I find a good woman to fill me up with chocolate syrup? Nice dog too.
It is a very, very slow and painful death. His stomach pain was excruciating and he had the same alcoholic brain confusion and didn't make sense. His breath took on a horrible fruity smell because his liver was failing yet he still talked like the guy in this video did to people around him. It was/is so bizarre and strange and confusing. When the liver gets scarred, the varices form throughout the body, pressure builds up, anyone of them can burst, but the ones most likely to are in the throat.
Yes. I'm really, really grateful for this video. It's hard to get everything that happens down in a short time. But he went through all of these symptoms and more (which there would be no time to show) and in the end he was extremely malnourished, his teeth started to fall out, and then he started to look extremely pregnant from ascites, a build up of fluid. He couldn't breathe well, and above was a case where the patient had preventative care to avoid that. The varices are everywhere though.
This pretty much sums up what happened with my boyfriend. He pretty much suffocated on his own blood although he went through all of those phases too. Right before he died, his esophogeal varices burst. It was a mess It was NOT dignified. I wish you could have shown that. There was blood, shit, you name it- everywhere. It is a very, very slow and painful last couple of months and an excruciating death. It's very hard for those who love them + end up taking care of them full time. Thanks 4 this.
I think this must be a capefear video! I am sitting here studying the liver and came across this video as I am busy planning our own video presentation. Good job guys!
I thought this was good and very educational. Most friends and people I know that drink should watch this Cirrhosis is very important and the liver. Great job with video, hope you all have more educational videos like this that are helpful.
god will, lady, get your coat, you dont need a fat ass, alcoholic bum thats too stupid to take advice, and too stupid to think that anything bad could happen from DRINKING SOMETHING THEY WANT YOU TO BE 21 FOR. lol
