Silver nuggets are more rare than gold nuggets but there not worth as much gold nuggets because silver is not as valuable. And nuggets of any kind are very very rare

Nice, you vid prompted me to take my pans on a recent trip to the whipstick. I'd never found gold by panning before. I found a tiny .3 gram nugget detecting and had other targets I couldn't find in the same area, so I decided to take a shirt full (no bucket lol) of dirt home and pan. I found a little picker, and a number of other specs. great fun panning when you actually find something. Hope to get back there soon, and work that pile some more.. Great vid, thanks again.

Sweet. Get that detector in there. If there's nice bits like that in the area, then you should be able to find something with the Xterra. Check at the base of washed out banks, guts etc. Any bedrock, detect it thorough and hard,If you can get a waterproof coil 4 your machine, do it. I know a few guys who specialise in using their detectors to find "Paystreaks" then bring their pans and sluicing gear in, and as you get more experienced and learn to read likely spots, you can get nice gold :)chr
