That was not a legal hit. He hit the guy high while he was vulnerable with his stick in his face and extended his arms as he hit the player. Note that the referee also saw that it was not legal and through a flag for it. Hits like that deserve to be flagged so that players aren't injured.

I play lacrosse and i've only played for one year, and i'll be honest i'm not very good I do start though. Only because i make hits like that. Your right though, that's an illegal hit, but I don't understand why. Guess what if you get hit that hard It might knock around a couple teeth. But really it's no big deal. What that get should have done is lowered his shoulder, that's legal, and would have been more effective.
