The bigest work is making an idol, and then leaving it forever.

Its more of a ritualistic tradition than an actual magic ritual if you ask me.

What people forget is that God doesn't like it when people call him by his abbreviated name. His real name is Godzilla and he loves you just the way you are and wants you to become part of something greater than yourself. Nom nom nom. We are television for the gods, and during the ad breaks Godzilla and C'thulhu get up and snack on us and go to the toilet and stuff.

you seem like a pretty odd guy, from what ive read off your comments. how many other people preform these rituals? what is their purpose?

do you say things in that "ancient language" when you do it?

I think that it could have used a little more. It would have been excellent to pull back at the end, then have something rise from the sea to claim back the idol, or leap from behind a sand dune and run off camera with it. Heck even when you turned away from the sea, you could have turned back and the statue could be gone would have been a slight bit of excitement.

Great advice,although this was not really made to look scary. Its footage from an ACTUAL ritual i preformed last Oct.

I give the old idol to the waves and create a new one to use for a year, then i offer the THAT one to the waves and so on, and so on.

Still, i agree with your advice, those things WOULD be cool. ;-)

It was a ritual so the weather was out of my hands, i had to do it on the morning of Oct 15 when the moon was 15% visible.

I sculpturing on an Cthulhu idol right now and looks at others Cthulhu idols meanwhile... Couldn't see so mutch of that one but its still inspiring.
