Dam Fox and ABC has been canceling great shows even back then. I think they enjoy getting people hooked on great shows like the original V and then canceling them. You know what they say, history tends to repeat itself so I am just waiting on fox to cancel the remake of V, it won't be long now..

@hilarioph If you compare the new V to the original-the new series is relying too much on the sci-fi aspect of the visitors. Similiar to what the '85 V series did. The 2 original mini-series made the visitors actions parallel to the nazi agenda. Even the special effects are too CGI-ish in the new series. The original used real makeup on the actors to portray the reptile skin. Think of when Diana's mask slipped in the shuttle during the 1st air raid on the rebel camp.

That show used to scare the you know what out of me when I was a kid. I LOVE it now as an adult and own the entire dvd set of the shows and the miniseries on dvd too.
