  • Igna is in my opinion one of the greatest singers of all. It's a shame she's barely known here in America.

  • Hey artstar19, glad you found this. No wonder she's not well known over in the US.

Those were the 70ies, man. In the UK they called it 'Kraut Rock' and that's ok with us, but for us, by the time, that was just our heart beat. This and all the other great bands like the Stones, Cream, Hendrix, Purple, and so on ...

But right: Inga is just superp, just as i8n the other vids that hang around here. Like "How the Gypsy was born" or something,

    cheers,

    zebulon

  • Wo bin ich? WOW

  • im in love

  • Thank you! By Th Way and Frumpy 2 have been in my cd player almost constantly for the last month. Excellent!

  • Great singer

  • Why did the U.K. ignore this band?...

Frumpy would've done well worldwide if they'd only been promoted properly, and would've blown a lot of the rubbish that polluted the U.K. pop charts at the time!!!...

    'Nuff said!...

  • frumpy, super band.

    inga rumpf, super stimme!!!

  • Liebe Inga - Du warst und bist sensationell! Forever in love lilo

  • die band und besonders inga rumpf waren zu dieser zeit weltbest!!! und inga rumpf und jaque sind immer noch ein musicalleckerbissen!!!

  • The very best!!!! I love you INGA, you are the best!!!!

  • tolle gruppe, tolle stimme - sah die gruppe mal live (in Hagen?).

Schade nur, dass das Video-Format so verzerrt ist! :--(

  • Why did America ignore this fantastic band??? Just because they were from Germany? Great lyrics...and that voice of Inga!!!WOW I am a fan forever!

  • I love this song! Does anyone have the lyrics??

  • Thank you, martadore, for sharing this! A great pice of music, I had it only on tape since decades, and I didn't know about this film. Fanstastic, I am just enthusiastic!

  • It's a T100 or T200

  • What Hammond is it

    M100 or T100 or what?

  • If I remember correctly it was an M100 (JJ now has a B3 with 2 Leslie Cabinet which was way too expensive back in 1971 ;-)

  • This is a classic tune. Love it!

  • Famous croatian singer Josipa Lisac has also strong voice like almost male's.

  • Immer wieder klasse anzuschauen!

  • soulfood!!!!

  • C'est puissant et ça fait du bien. Merveilleuse Inga.

  • Not heard this since the 70's. They were a class act. She was the best German vocalist of hert time.

  • I think she's still the best German rock/blues/soul vocalist ever... Nuff said!...

  • saying more: once i arrived at a festival (lüneburg) and couldn't believe it, that was inga and the ndr bigband covering hendrix live on stage, my best festival start ever :)

just a few weeks ago i've seen her in a daily show with special guests on the "red sofa", she's still very cool, tried/performed different styles in the last decades and is still jammin.

an inspiring musician and a nice person she is :)

  • Great musicians with great songs i am a big fan of group

  • Frumpy is new to me, this is really great music.

  • FRUMPY ROCKS!!!! Too bad is was only 2 in '71;)

  • sach mal, ist nina hages naturträne vom by the way-solo inspiriert? total ähnlich, das is ja'n ding :) (siehe RgGSNYentdo oder 06lgmjse6cY)

btw: danke für den geilen upload!

  • Well finally, one of my songs has reached the surface again, "By the way" was inspired by my one of my all-time favorite groups "Chicago" (I just wish we had a horn-section way in those days9 - Oh, by the way, I'm the drummer ;-)

  • Thanks Mr Bohn! :-) This song is just wicked! I've already worked it out for when I cover it in the band... this is real music! btw. I first heard of you when you played on a Peter Baumann LP back in 80/81... take care. :-)

  • Nice one, Mr. Bohn... As a bass player myself, I appreciate superb drumming, as I've heard on all the Frumpy albums, which I have on CD!...

  • Great musicians all together, especially organist Jean-Jacques Kravetz - and Inga, of course... And this is not even their best song.

  • I'm encountering Frumpy on YouTube for the first time. I can't understand why this band wasn't famous world-wide.

  • at least inga new when to shut up and let the instruments speak todays artists go on and on big egos low talent

  • wow.. what an incredible song. I wish modern rock/pop had such attitude and sound... incredible fusion of rock brazilian classical and jazz influences all put together in a pop song... 10/10

  • Another top video of Frumpy!...

  • Great to see Frumpy with Inga Rumpf!!!

Thanks a lot for upload this and the other video's.

Nice hammond-organ and ofcourse Inga's voice is great!
