i am in the early stages of locs and i am interlocking.. i wondered how to maintain the shaft of the loc//braid. mine have become very fluffy/ messy and look like they need taking out. i know interlocking will sort out the roots. But what do i do with the shaft?

I love the rubberbanding method! it's quick and easy. I don't hardly ever use the clips anymore.

First let me say gurl your energy is just as high as mine and I love that quality! You're right, seems quite easy to watch you do that but you know it's gonna take your gurl a minute to get used to this technique. It's definitely work trying though. This is a great instruction video. I wash every two to three weeks but when working out or in the summer months I will need to increase it and I don't want to be bothered with 200 + clips every time. Also I have more fuzziness than I want to so palm rolling in the shower is a great idea. I love the way locks look that have that cylindrical look. I tried the vinegar rinse for the first time and hubby was complaining.....lol

yes - palm rolling before getting out of the shower REEEEALLLY seems to help. and since I didn't condition and just did the ACV w lemon, my locs look the best yet. So yet ANOTHER savings - no more purchasing condition!!! Yipppeeeeeee YaaaHoooWeee
