That's not a sample, it's an FM sound, coming from his TX802.

That sound was originally made on a DX7.

@Geeljasjes Yes it is a DX7. Do you really have this sound? I would love to get a sysex or a wav copy of it. It is a very rich sounding woody bass. If you are able to spare it I would be grateful. Thanks

This sound is also all over the album 'Provisions' by Scritti Politti.

They used a TX816.

I found that sound.

Had to get my Atari out to find it somehwere on a floppy.

Next thing is to get it into the Mac and either send the sysex or a Wav sample.

Tegenwoordig heb je gellukig alleen één pc nodig en de bijbehorende software om een nummer te maken of te mixen. En natuurlijk het muziek gevoel die ik nog steeds aan het ontdekken ben ;)
