  • Toodaloo you murdering Marxist Pig.

  • Teddy Kennedy and his father Honey Fist, gave his sister a homemade labotomy. They gave her soctch, then drilled a large hole into her head. Teddy boy was then instructed by Honey Fist to "Bang your sisters backside" which he complied. The ever ancient Rose watched and barked commands as well. All the while sipping scotch. Enos later joined in bringing with her the family dog demonstrating her abbilitys to "allow Fido to pound my ass".

    A great family.

  • @shonholmes Honey Fitz was his grand father you idiot. Joe Kennedy had her surgery

  • @norr4636 see what I mean...a bunch of inbreds.

  • a very good and funny storyteller !!

  • Wonderful story. Sure makes Teddy seem larger than life. And lived a life full of joy as well as tragedy.

  • I am not a billionaire nor an elitist; I was a custodian for 20 years. I can, however, appreciate a good story about a friend and loved one regardless of how much money they may have. Perhaps it is those who can't recognize the human emotions we all share and the need to remember those we have lost with fond memories that truly do not have a clue. Cynicism has a place but this is not it.

  • Moment of silence for the Hero of Chappaquiddick please!

  • Funny story from a dear friend. You will be missed, dear Senator. You stood up for all those who did not have a voice. Where is the next Ted Kennedy? Who will stand strong for us now?

  • He gave the best speech of the night!

  • Rest in peace, Ted Kennedy, you were a great senator. Massachusetts and the USA will miss you. Hopefully, your replacement will carry on with the agenda you had.

  • What a wonderful story, what a wonderful Iowan, what a wonderful tribute!!!!

  • I'm glad I was able to see this on Youtube. Very cute story and fond memory.

  • Redemption is only for Republicans, right, StinkingHombre?

  • move on moron...really...drown yourself

  • Interesting how none ol these people who like to bring up Chappaquidick ever say anything about Laura Bush hitting a man with her car and then driving off, leaving him there, to die on the side of the road,

The man DID die, making Laura a criminal hit-and-run driver.

Though no one denies it happened, she was never charged with ANYTHING. It pays to have a powerful family.

  • Maybe you can enlighten me how someone commits hit-and-run, and kills someone and is never charged with a crime for it.

Stinking Hombre, your name fits like a a glove.

  • Who was that?

  • "Who was that?"

    Laura Bush.

    Read a little farther down.

Man, you always have to tell a neo con how to do everything most other people can figure out for themselves.

    sheesh.

  • Laura Bush didn't run, she faced the authorities on the spot and no charges where filled. Drunken Teddy on the other hand disappeared for 18 hours!

  • "Laura Bush didn't run, "

Wrong. She drove off, and then later her familt contacted the authorities.

And how long do you think you or I wold lst if we id that ?

And what about her war criminal husband who is responsible for so many brave American soldiers and innocent women and children dying in Iraq ?

Teddy was an innocent schoolboy, compared to war criminal Dubya and hit and run laura.

  • Wow, you'RE staring to even make Dubya look smart... I said COMPARED TO A WAR CRIMINAL LIKE DUBYA, Ted was a schoolboy. I DIDN'T SAY HE WAS A SCHOOLBOY. Most INTELLIGENT people could see the difference there. Its sort of like how, compared to a rock, you're real smart, but compared to most people (who would have understood my earlier comparison) you're...

..Well, never mind. If you're too stupid to get the first comparison you won't get the 2nd one either.

  • I don't know what the fuck your talking about!

  • "I don't know what the fuck your talking about!"

-Of course you don't . You don't even know what YOU'RE talking about.

  • I've cried so much over the last 4 days. When I saw this live on Friday night, I was able to laugh again. John Culver is the best!

Requiescat in pace, Edward M. Kennedy. You were our liberal lion and will be sorely missed.

  • I was laughing so hard at this. Caroline was right when she stated that all of these people gave them "gifts" tonight of times with Teddy. This was Great!

  • The perfect story for an Irish wake... If Sen. Culver hadn't gone into public service, he coulda had a career in stand-up. For the rest f my life I will never be able to hear the expression "There's nothing to it" without recalling this loving/funny tribute. Rest in peace, Senator, rest in peace...

  • Too funny. Loved it.

    RIP Teddy...

  • This was my favorite of all the Memorial speeches too. Laughed my head off watching this. RIP Ted, and thanks for everything you did for Massachusetts, and our country.

  • Senator Culver is wonderful. Great story teller. What a magnificent gentleman.

  • This brought tears of laughter to my eyes. What a man - what a life. To you Senator Kennedy my heart felt thanks for being my Senator our champion. All my love...

  • This guy was GREAT!!!! I sure wish he could have stayed in the Senate - we need someone like him now!

  • This story was so funny, I had to see it again. What a wonderful wake for a great man.

  • This was the best wake I've ever witnessed!

So much love & humor, a wonderful send off~

  • What a funny, loving tribute that reflects the best in friendship and reveals Kennedy's early drive and love of sailing. I'm from Iowa and it was good to see Culver once more. This was the best of the tributes. Teddy would've loved this and I'm sure would've had his own funny version of the event.

  • Great story...very glad it aws shared with us......RIP Teddy...now you can join the your brothers and the rest of the family at the dinner table ....

  • John Culver was in fine form. What an engaging storyteller. I'm from Iowa and remember when he was elected "way back when"...but never recalled him as a modern-day Mark Twain. I think Ted would have loved hearing this. A sweet tribute to a great man.

  • I was thinking the same thing.... Teddy would have really enjoyed this.

    RIP SENATOR!
