I have. I ceased from all sin a long time ago. In addition, I understand implicitly God's judgments, and why they are righteous.
As far as that true communion, how about talking with, conversing with God on a daily basis. Will that do? How about actually seeing and touching Jesus on several occasions? How about being taken into heaven in a vision and taking a small tour? How about knowing the future most of the time. How about controlling the weather anytime I choose? Do these count?
Conversing with god on a daily basis is certainly possible. I would, however, like to hear more about "seeing and touching Jesus on several occasions," and being, "taken to heaven in a vision". "Knowing" the future I'd have a hard time fathoming as your ability to control the weather. But, I'm open. Please go into your experience with seeing and touching Jesus and your small tour of heaven. I believe I read where Mohammed has a similar tour of both heaven and hell. Maybe you're the next prophet!
That is the only way they can know God. The things of God are foolishness to the natural man - like you. You could no more understand the deep things of God than you could change your gender.
The one who wants to know God must be completely remade in order to be able to know Him. Knowing God is not a reformation of a man's character, it is the death of his character, and the creation of a new nature, created in the likeness of God Himself. If only you could read.
Your last paragraph is almost completely correct. Your first paragraph is pathetic.
The only mistake you make in the last paragraph is "created in the likeness of God Himself." Perhaps, if you had actually gone through the "death of your character" and created a new nature for yourself, you would have begun a true communion with the creator rather than believing in a faulty book. The real "god" is not dead. The real god didn't write a book. The real god is within you and everywhere, right now
When you talk about "leading people to Christ" you seem to be expecting people to abandon whatever they have previously believed and to simply believe that somehow YOU have some special knowledge that they haven't heard about yet. That is fine, as a matter of fact it is required for someone to suspend their current belief in order to truly examine a different system. But, BroCope, I doubt very much that you are willing to suspend your belief in the possibility that the truth is otherwise.
