@hund4n0kh4n They sing mostly about wars, fighting and such. WW2 is very rich source of inspiration for this, no wonder they sing a lot about Nazi Germany, they were the "bad guys". Personally I wouldn't say that Sabaton doesn't focus on stating opinion, they simply honor the most skilled, valliant and fearsome fighters, warriors, soldiers etc and of course the most memorable battles. Good examples: 40-1, Ghost Division, Back in Control and Primo Victioria.

This is just great. I am very tempted to get on a plane and go to Europe all the way from New Zealand just to go see SABATON live. I would love to see them come over here but its probably not likely. :-(

@WarCriminal02 I am thinking of doing it next year sometime 2011. Would be well worth the trip over. Do they play in the UK? I would prefer to see them in an english speaking country, might just make things a little easier.

I think people are losing sight of what this song is really about. It's about the men and women abroad making a sacrifice (some the ultimate sacrifice) in the name of freedom and security.

Woud have been so awesome if they'd recorded the studio version with the echo intro like how they pay it live. cool that the guitarist uses the volume control on his guitar to do it rather than a foot pedal or summat

Uuhm...Germany was attacked from all sides, too (in both world wars) and resisted much longer (even though this costed thousands of civilian lives which is a price too high to pay). Of course Poland "survived", but it first was ruled by the Nazis (killing Jews, scientists, politicians, basically the whole Polish elite) and then by the Commies (who ruined Poland even further). So why are Germans pussies? 'Cuz we had luck and weren't all ruled by the Commies? Cuz you were fucked you up in WW2?

Germany was a country in the period of 1930-1941 the most develloped country of the world. and the fastest growing.
Poland just survived because France and England made that country. because of that they defended it etc etc...

When Germany chose Hitler as their 'ReichsKanselier' (had just little less rights than president) he promised many things which he all accoplished.
but with the reichstag fire an 'emergency situation' came. than he had all the power that he could wish for. that drove him nuts.

The reichstag fire was most likely set up by him or someone in his party so that he would achieve all that power.

well, germany had lots of scientist after the war too, if it wasent for the germans, we would not have gotten up in space, have efficient tanks, or the AK, not to mention rockets itself.

The AK was made by Mikail T. Kalashnikov not german scientists...well technically the germans helped, because he got wounded in war and designed the AK in hospital being inspired by the MP-43 XD

I think people don´t get what "influenced" means...
Neither shape nor action, BUT he was influenced by the STG44 in a way that he thought "well, what a great idea, an intermediate rifleround, a shorter, selective fire rifle, now i make one for the red army, that´s tons better."

De vinci is said to have came up with the 1st tank and the British ivented the 1st true battle tank.
Germany made way for jet aircraft, great MGs and General purpose machine guns.

i have he shared credit with Germany so he is not the one to make the 1st jet airplane. plus they created the 1st turbojet engine. NOT THE 1ST JET AIRCRAFT!!! god you told me to do my researc and give the guys name and you dont even know anyting about it.
