i found this online how is it good for u??>>>The U.S. National Institutes of Health describes spirulina supplements as "possibly safe", provided they are free of microcystin contamination, but "likely unsafe" (especially for children) if contaminated.
A lot of people are complaining about taste, ive never had Chlorelle but spirulina tastes great if you mix it into a fruit smoothie! I suspect it's the same for Chlorella, so just try that!
I bought 200g of spirulina powder for £11.99 and planned on having 10 grams a day with water. I didn't think it would taste as disgusting as it did. I only put like 3 grams in 400ml of water but it tasted like drinking water from a fish tank. Do you really get to like the taste? I really want to take it but i gag at the taste, is it like that at first? I do really want to drink it as it cost me quite a bit of money that I don't want to waste.
@darkgoth122596 First of all, I commend you for taking the leap and giving spirulina a try. Yes, it is a very very strong taste, and it took me a few days till I started getting used to the taste, but after taking it for a week or so, I began to enjoy the taste. Our taste buds get used to what we eat regularly. :) That said, do make sure you're getting it from a good source that is selling fresh spirulina. Best wishes!
@darkgoth122596 Try putting it into a smoothie, that's wha I do and it makes me feel bloody fantastic! I have a reciep green breakfast smoothie if interested which you can edit to your taste. Spirulina is SO good for you.
you are very right, these are products that I have passed along to many. I hope you all try them and pass them along ;) Better yet do the research and simply google: spirulina benefits, chlorella benefits and you will be shocked!
I used to take chlorella and spirulina tablets for a long time,I felt great never sick.when I stoped take it ,I got sick, flu and headache.I will order again
@DtoWnSux1 I wouldn't depend on spirulina alone to build upper body strength, but it can certainly help as part of an overall healthy diet and exercise program.
Thank you for this great video. I have been taking Chlorella for quite sometime, and your instructional video re assured me of its contents. Thanks again!
I just started taking Chlorella and Spirulina a couple days ago. Personally I found the taste overbearing, so I tried to mask the taste in a healthy way and was successful. It had cranberries, blueberries, almond milk, honey, stevia, vegan protein powder, cocoa powder, lime, bananas, a pinch of cardamom and mint, spirulina, an avocado and an apple. It was so creamy and delicious. It sounds like a bizarre concoction, i know, but the taste was epic. PS: I really liked your video ;)
@queerp Mmm, great ideas! I never thought of putting all those ingredients together. It sure does sound like it would make the taste more pleasant. Thanks for sharing your ideas/results! Peace.
@ohpineapples I'm not sure if it specifically targets clearing up acne, but clean acne-free skin is the natural result of a very healthy body, and chlorella and spirulina go a long way in making a person's body very healthy, so I would conclude that drinking this concoction would probably (indirectly) help clear up acne. But I wouldn't depend on it solely for clearing up acne. There are other foods and mixtures that are targeted more for acne.
Hello..I enjoyed your video! I recently started taking chorella and spirilina..wasnt quite sure if I can take both...but looks like its okay to take both. Thank you so much for the info. I hope u dont mind me asking but are you a nutritionist?
@Lett0925 Great! Glad to hear you're giving it a try. To answer your question... No, I don't consider myself to be a nutritionist, since I don't have any special degrees or certifications in nutrition. I'm just very enthusiastic about eating healthy food, and I love to learn about why certain foods are healthy. So I consider myself to be a "health food enthusiast." :)
i just ordered 1 pound of chlorella and 1 pound of spirulina. i'm looking to get healthy! i plan to drink 1tbsp of chlorella and 1tbsp of spirulina 3 times a day (morning, afternoon and night). i'm also thinking about buying organic hemp protein powder. have you ever tried it?
@wh0shotyah That's fantastic, Ian! I'm glad to hear you'll be consuming chlorella and spirulina. You may want to start a little slow and build up... like maybe try a teaspoon of each 3 times a day to get your body used to it, then build up to 1tbsp. I actually haven't researched hemp protein powder yet, but I will now. Thanks for the advice! Be blessed. - Jonathan
@jonhostetler hey, i have had my products for about a week now and i love it! i consume them 3 times a day. in the morning, afternoon and night. i put 1 banana, 1tsp of chlorella, 2.5tsp of spirulina, 2.5tsp of hemp powder, 100ml of water, 240ml organic almond, pinch of cinnamon and 2 handfuls of ice and blend it all up. its AMAZING! tastes like macha green tea!
@wh0shotyah Wow, that sounds like a delicious blend, Ian. Thanks for the update. Great to hear that you're enjoying the health benefits of chlorella and spirulina. Keep it up!
@lastgoodgirlstanding I'm not sure why it would be causing you to throw up. Maybe you're consuming too much at a time? I would either try consuming smaller amounts, or just don't consume any at all. There are plenty of other highly nutritious foods out there. Hope it works out for you!
Great informative video. Thumbs up. I wish i knew more about the difference between the two though. I guess i should google it.
