Hey guys and girls. I'm a poet from Chicago. I have started a YouTube Channel to help get my work out there. Please take 5 minutes out of your day to check my stuff out. Like. Subscribe. Tweet. Your support is greatly appreciated!
act black? how does one act black, please explain? also, them slave ships passed by puerto rico as well. he's just describing his neighborhood, calm down you guys.
Whatever he is I can tell he isn't acting he can't help his demeanor and who he grew up around it. I hate when people say there is no such thing as "Acting black" when apparently there is cause you cannot tell me Justin Bieber isn't acting. But this man here grew up raw he's authentic with his whole vibe.
Acting black? I really hate when people say that. I don't think he's acting 'black' per se, it's more that he dresses and talks a certain way because he was influenced by the enbironment in which he grew up in. Why would it matter if he were white? Just because he is white or puerto rican does not mean he doesn't face similar issues as people of colour would especially if he lived in the same low-income neighborhoods.

great poem....its amazing how much negative things people have to say about something inspiring free and uplifitng, no matter what it is, there will always be haters..nonetheless....i love poetry and the many forms it takes including the works of LEMON.....im from jersey so its all in all fam
It's amazing that HBO created a poetry show and went out of its way to find the worst poets on the face of the earth. These poets appear to be going for a kind of cliched stand up comedy combined with banal platitudes. This is very much one of those things that is so terrible it's hard not to watch. If you are watching this train wreck do your self a favor and look up some Auden, Bukowski or Plath.
@ johnthepalm Although I don't like every poem delivered, I find that most are sincere expression of the poets truth. check out "knock knock". The poets you mentioned are not the standard by which all poets should be measured/ judged. They merely represent one facet of this art form. you may not like it, but you don't have to disrespect it.
@captainterrible525 Thank you for your response. There is no single standard for poetry - agreed. But these "poets" upset my nose. I watched "Knock Knock" and it is a very sad story, but not a very good story or a poem. There is not enough room here to debate what constitutes great poetry. I understand that people enjoy much of these spoken word performances. Have you notices that these poems always end with a kind of crescendo? The poets seem to have the idea that poetry is about applause.
@johnthepalm That's your opinion. You see a sad story. I see a "triumph in spite of". Most people can appreciate things they relate to. That poem means a lot to folks w/ parents who've made bad choices. Phylicia Rashad does a great poem on there. Floetry has a great poem. Some are funny. Some are sweet. Some actually do end quietly. And the people are applauding the passion. & though you may not like the delivery or the content, that is the poet's truth & i may not like it, but I respect it
@captainterrible525 Saying that something is my "opinion" does nothing to illuminate the value of this poem. I don't care if it "means a lot of folks..." so does the Star Spangled Banner. You have now written twice about a poet's "truth". I can only assume that you think all truths are equal. But it's not true of course. Some people are insightful, some write and we see the entire dilemma of being human, and it doesn't come from baby talk about "overcoming".
@john "baby talk" wow. ok. if I said the poets you mentioned are dry and boring, that's my opinion. It doesn't mean that the poem doesn't have value, it just means I can't relate to it. And because I can't relate to it, it doesn't take away the "meaning" or value for someone else. I wouldn't call it the worst poetry ever because i don't relate to it, don't like the delivery, etc. I would just say it's not for me. Are you a poet? a writer? what is your creative outlet? do you tell your story?
@captainterrible525 Yes, when you say that you think one of the poems I mentioned are "dry and boring" it means you think they don't have a value above what you have stated that value to be, which is an impoverished value. I don't know what you are afraid of. Just say you think Auden sucks. Too much Oprah? When you choose relativism you choose a structure that supports nothing specifically because it supports everything. Or does racist poetry have some value you would like to illuminate?
U seem hositle. I actually, I don't find those poets boring, but i see that me saying that seemed to fire you up. s for your assessment of what U percieve my persona to be "too much Oprah". WTH completely inaccurate. You saying this is not poetry is like your grandparents saying the music you like is not music. Poetry, like very art form has different genres and styles which vary from artist to artist. Why do you feel this need to bash it? How can you place a value on someone's life experience?
@captainterrible525 You are, not surprisingly, mistaken. While I may be hostile to certain ideas (like racism or superstition) I am not hostile to you. My arguments are a sign that I think you are worth conversing with. You did not fire me up with the "boring"; I can think of no poet I'd get angry over. I was, however, trying to fire you up and challenge your notions about everything having its value. It used to be enough to point out that something was relativistic to see the flaw...
@johnif you weren't fired up then why did you get personal. "too much Oprah" wth is that. & you're still missing the point. I never defended this poem, i defended a poet's right to say what they want, how they want. I said you don't have to disrespect it. That's it that's all. If you don't like it. don't watch it. To watch just for the purpose of bashing it, is pointless. Value IS relative. That's why people spend large amounts of money on things others wouldn't want for free. practice allowing
@captainterrible525 You are much more confused than I first thought. 1. I never suggested any poet not have the right to speak. I criticized HBO for picking bad poets, just as I would a publication. 2. I did not say you defended the poem (read!) I said you SHOULD take a stand, defend or criticize something! The Oprah comment is not personal, it compares your ideas to hers, the concept of soft-headed relativism which you endorse at the end of this last comment, "Value is relative", proves it.
@john U posted "another shame about this poem, which I am glad to know you are no longer defending" You feel the need to prove others wrong. i don't agree w/ your assessment. I take a stand on the things that have influence over my life. Your judgments are arbitrary. U sound condescending because you are. A few pieces, Taylor Mali-Reading Allowed, Lauryn Hill-Motives & thoughts, Heru Ptah-Why. You say "the worst poets" the crowd likes them. So they're wrong for enjoying the work? I'm done.
@captainterrible525 ...another shame about this poem, which I am glad to know you are no longer defending (progress!), is that he takes the time to take a shot at a worthy target and all he can come up with is "I put my little finger up in the air for that little bitch John Rocker". Now that is sad. I mean come on! Even John Rocker probably could have done better, and he's a moron. A good tact would have been to compare the bigotry of Rocker to the hate by the jingoists who blew up the WTC.
@captainterrible525 ...another shame about this poem, which I am glad to know you are no longer defending (progress!), is that he takes the time to take a shot at a worthy target and all he can come up with is "I put my little finger up in the air for that little bitch John Rocker". @john (cont'd.) because that's all this is a sharing of life experience, knowledge, feeling & passion. not to be defined, boxed, and categorized by individuals who impose conformity to eurocentric ideals. Just expressing a sincere life experience. i asked what it is that you create because i just wanted you to consider who defines it for you? Who has the right to define & condemn your expression of your life experience? If you feel that U have the right to do that to others go ahead. racist?
@captainterrible525 As a tiny thought experiment, try doing as some sage writers have suggested, and write without using a single cliche. To answer one of your earlier questions, yes, I am a writer. I keep an anonymous blog at soddenpopinjaydotcom. You will find quite a bit of poetry in the recent entries and essays and short stories in the older entries. Although my longer pieces and plays are not published on that site.
@johnthepalm And that wouldn't be an experiment for me. I write blogs, poetry & short stories. Comedic pieces, mysteries, insightful essays, etc. Sometimes i write for small businesses. BUT I DON'T BASH OTHER POETS! I don't listen to their life experiences and comment "it was a sad story, but it wasn't a good story". It wasn't good TO YOU. Let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that.
@captainterrible525 OK. I'm fine with ending this discussion. But I was holding out some hope for you. Unfortunately you do not seem to see the value of criticism. You are obsessed with the idea that such a critique or overt display of disappointment or "BASH" (as you call it) is without merit and without its own positive repercussions. According to your relativism my words here in this forum should count as much as Lemon's. Or do you veto my words because they are, gasp, "negative"?
@johnthepalm Also, this poem is not one of my faves. I actually clicked on it by accident. So i won't be defending it. To me a key ingredient in a good poem is sincerity (which is why I mentioned "truth"). As far as the delivery, Taylor Mali makes some of the same observations you did. But i wouldn't lump all the poets together. I don't have a box that neatly fits what is good vs. bad poetry. If you feel the need to do that..... enjoy yourself.
@captainterrible525 I don't expect you to agree with me. Our argument has come up because our viewpoints are opposed. But I do think you are quite wrong, but a lot of things you have written might have appealed to me when I was about 20. I don't say this to be condescending but to illustrate that I have thought about what you are saying and I have come to the conclusion that it is wrong. If you have can find something insightful from one of these poets please quote it, as I have seen nothing...
@johnthepalm Your use of the phrase "eurocentric" is quite interesting. Of course I have mentioned many poets who are not European in our discussion, but maybe you mean something else when you use that word. Maybe you would like to elaborate.
@captainterrible525 ...with one exception so far. You recommended a poem recited by Phylicia Rashad. I did take your advice and listen to it. And I agree that it is very good. I then began searching for material by the poet (her mother) Vivian Elizabeth Ayers. Of course this is not by any of these contemporary poets, but a work from the era of Langston Hughes. As far as me being "hostile", if you are of the impression that my criticisms are personal, read more carefully.
@captainterrible525 ...another shame about this poem, which I am glad to know you are no longer defending (progress!), is that he takes the time to take a shot at a worthy target and all he can come up with is "I put my little finger up in the air for that little bitch John Rocker". @captainterrible525 This is so much sadder than you realize. When I was younger I had the opportunity to be argue with many people who were critical, clever, abrasive, stubborn and brilliant. You shut down your mind when you hear something you deem negative. Learn that negativity is the first step to creativity. The urge to destroy is the urge to create. Learn and you will be free.
@john *SIGH* so condescending. I didn't "shut down my mind" You decided I was wrong. What is left to debate? I'm too busy debating, fighting for things that matter and creating programs that supplement the academic education of teens with a professional and financial education. This is a release for me. Not something for me to condemn or approve or enforce my opinion of as fact. So just leave it at that.
@captainterrible525 I am surprised to learn that you "debate", as you appear to be anti-debate, that is you only debate with me about all the ways one shouldn't debate. Come to think of it you remind me of that Monty Python skit, about the argument clinic. You are right about me being "condescending", I don't reproach that label. It's a learning tool. But I can't teach if you can't learn. Feel free to give up on this any time. I'll stop posting.
@captainterrible525 ...also, I posted other comments meant for you last night, but accidentally posted them to myself. If you scroll through you'll see my comments about: Phylicia Rashad's reading and my complimentary explanation of the work she is reading; a question about your use of the word "eurocentric". You can quit this conversation any time you want, but I'll keep posting, as eventually you may be lucky enough to see that people like me are the only hope for literacy in civilization.
@johnthepalm "people like me are the only hope for literacy in civilization." Well then, you should get to work and stop wasting time in here with your critique of poets who are paying you no attention and myself who has moved on.
@captainterrible525 It's only a waste if you don't get it. The fact that you engaged me in an argument suggests behind all that pride you may be willing to see the light.
@john "I don't expect you to agree with me. Our argument has come up because our viewpoints are opposed." You have decided that I am wrong and you are right. So, if we agree that we disagree then your continuing posts serve no purpose other than to feed YOUR ego. "You can quit this conversation any time you want, but I'll keep posting" okay
@captainterrible525 I know you're wrong. But I want to help you. Read "Unacknowledged Legislation, Writers in the Public Sphere by Christopher Hitchens. I think this will help. I would be happy to accept any recommendations from you.
@johnthepalm "OK. I'm fine with ending this discussion." so you say. then later "You can quit this conversation any time you want, but I'll keep posting"
@captainterrible525 I can only assume you are quoting me here because you think this is a "gotcha" moment. I will continue to post, if you don't want to have a "discussion" (two people or more) then you can quit. I will keep posting (requiring only one person). Is this clear enough? ...strangely you still haven't responded directly to most of my comments, and I sense you realize that your argument in coming apart at the seams, so this would be a good time for you to save face and give up.
This man is a white spaniard who resides in PR. Whites blacks and natives are mixed a little too. Yet we still know their is a difference between the three. If he has any black or native blood, it very little. He's as native or black as your average white boy more than likely.
am i a rythmless void for being mesmerized by the universe and this wonderful part of it called the human mind, and still not believing in any religions, gods or anything "supernatural" (whatever that might mean..)? does the search for truth, and not assumption of things on faith make me a rythmless void?
if any one is wondering about my position on this please watch this video
/watch?v=gZQiBWzBtBY
i love most of lemon's videos here on youtube, i just don't agree with that little part lol
I think what he's saying is that you have to believe in something. He's not saying that something is god or life after death or anything. He's expressing that you have to put your faith somewhere, even if it's not something most would attest to faith.
@AbstractPoetNerd well, i do appreciate you reading in to this and joining me in thought over this, but just the use of the word faith leaves me unconfortable. Are you using it in a "devotion" or "deep appreciation" type way? cause if so i defenetly agree with you. I just wouldn't use the word faith because I can't stand the concept the word defines most of the time... meh x/ lol
@willshakeyou I can understand your mixed emotions over the word "faith" and the meaning it might usually evoke. I put my faith into things like hard work, thinking logically, and making a better life for myself. Faith is simply something everyone has and puts to use in different ways. Religious faith, moral faith, etc. Always different kinds. You can definitely have faith in trying to develop a better understanding of the world that surrounds you and certainly with no religious undertones.
@AbstractPoetNerd yeah but still it's really hard not to associate the word faith with "believe without proof or inspite proof" and i try not to have that at all in my life. but i understand what you mean and I agree with you... =)
@alfredoball20 five percenter is a type of religion.. kinda.. check out the nation of gods and earths.. supreme mathematics is like numbers, each number repsenting a meaning 1 -9 and zero.
@Turbo1rx 92 door knockers...well 92 is for the year 1992 and door knockers are big gold earings women used to wear they were real popular back then. They were so big they resembled door knockers (people had instead of door bells)lol
last line was awesome, shit I'm done feeling sorry for myself or being angry with God for not giving me everything, cause He's blessed me more than I'll ever know (p.s. I'm muslim, not that that matters)
@xclusiv4321 the prophet said in his farewell speech that the devil has given up hope in leading us to do big sins, so we have to really careful not to do small ones :)
@xclusiv4321 thanks for that reply. I would like to correct my language here, I did use a swear word that I shouldn't have. SubhanAllah, as soon as you take a good look at yourself and Islam, you really are willing to change even the smallest of things to get closer to Allah swt :)
Now dont get me wrong, I like lemon. Hes a great poet and great speaker. But I found it kind of funny that this poem is all about where he is from (brooklyn). But yet he is wearing an indianapolis colts hat. Lol. Great poem though.

It's amazing that HBO created a poetry show and went out of its way to find the worst poets on the face of the earth. These poets appear to be going for a kind of cliched stand up comedy combined with banal platitudes. This is very much one of those things that is so terrible it's hard not to watch. If you are watching this train wreck do your self a favor and look up some Auden, Bukowski or Plath.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@ johnthepalm Although I don't like every poem delivered, I find that most are sincere expression of the poets truth. check out "knock knock". The poets you mentioned are not the standard by which all poets should be measured/ judged. They merely represent one facet of this art form. you may not like it, but you don't have to disrespect it.
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 Thank you for your response. There is no single standard for poetry - agreed. But these "poets" upset my nose. I watched "Knock Knock" and it is a very sad story, but not a very good story or a poem. There is not enough room here to debate what constitutes great poetry. I understand that people enjoy much of these spoken word performances. Have you notices that these poems always end with a kind of crescendo? The poets seem to have the idea that poetry is about applause.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@johnthepalm That's your opinion. You see a sad story. I see a "triumph in spite of". Most people can appreciate things they relate to. That poem means a lot to folks w/ parents who've made bad choices. Phylicia Rashad does a great poem on there. Floetry has a great poem. Some are funny. Some are sweet. Some actually do end quietly. And the people are applauding the passion. & though you may not like the delivery or the content, that is the poet's truth & i may not like it, but I respect it
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 Saying that something is my "opinion" does nothing to illuminate the value of this poem. I don't care if it "means a lot of folks..." so does the Star Spangled Banner. You have now written twice about a poet's "truth". I can only assume that you think all truths are equal. But it's not true of course. Some people are insightful, some write and we see the entire dilemma of being human, and it doesn't come from baby talk about "overcoming".
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@john "baby talk" wow. ok. if I said the poets you mentioned are dry and boring, that's my opinion. It doesn't mean that the poem doesn't have value, it just means I can't relate to it. And because I can't relate to it, it doesn't take away the "meaning" or value for someone else. I wouldn't call it the worst poetry ever because i don't relate to it, don't like the delivery, etc. I would just say it's not for me. Are you a poet? a writer? what is your creative outlet? do you tell your story?
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 Yes, when you say that you think one of the poems I mentioned are "dry and boring" it means you think they don't have a value above what you have stated that value to be, which is an impoverished value. I don't know what you are afraid of. Just say you think Auden sucks. Too much Oprah? When you choose relativism you choose a structure that supports nothing specifically because it supports everything. Or does racist poetry have some value you would like to illuminate?
johnthepalm 1 year ago
U seem hositle. I actually, I don't find those poets boring, but i see that me saying that seemed to fire you up. s for your assessment of what U percieve my persona to be "too much Oprah". WTH completely inaccurate. You saying this is not poetry is like your grandparents saying the music you like is not music. Poetry, like very art form has different genres and styles which vary from artist to artist. Why do you feel this need to bash it? How can you place a value on someone's life experience?
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 You are, not surprisingly, mistaken. While I may be hostile to certain ideas (like racism or superstition) I am not hostile to you. My arguments are a sign that I think you are worth conversing with. You did not fire me up with the "boring"; I can think of no poet I'd get angry over. I was, however, trying to fire you up and challenge your notions about everything having its value. It used to be enough to point out that something was relativistic to see the flaw...
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@johnif you weren't fired up then why did you get personal. "too much Oprah" wth is that. & you're still missing the point. I never defended this poem, i defended a poet's right to say what they want, how they want. I said you don't have to disrespect it. That's it that's all. If you don't like it. don't watch it. To watch just for the purpose of bashing it, is pointless. Value IS relative. That's why people spend large amounts of money on things others wouldn't want for free. practice allowing
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 You are much more confused than I first thought. 1. I never suggested any poet not have the right to speak. I criticized HBO for picking bad poets, just as I would a publication. 2. I did not say you defended the poem (read!) I said you SHOULD take a stand, defend or criticize something! The Oprah comment is not personal, it compares your ideas to hers, the concept of soft-headed relativism which you endorse at the end of this last comment, "Value is relative", proves it.
johnthepalm 1 year ago

If you feel that U have the right to do that to others go ahead. racist?
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 As a tiny thought experiment, try doing as some sage writers have suggested, and write without using a single cliche. To answer one of your earlier questions, yes, I am a writer. I keep an anonymous blog at soddenpopinjaydotcom. You will find quite a bit of poetry in the recent entries and essays and short stories in the older entries. Although my longer pieces and plays are not published on that site.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@johnthepalm And that wouldn't be an experiment for me. I write blogs, poetry & short stories. Comedic pieces, mysteries, insightful essays, etc. Sometimes i write for small businesses. BUT I DON'T BASH OTHER POETS! I don't listen to their life experiences and comment "it was a sad story, but it wasn't a good story". It wasn't good TO YOU. Let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that.
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 OK. I'm fine with ending this discussion. But I was holding out some hope for you. Unfortunately you do not seem to see the value of criticism. You are obsessed with the idea that such a critique or overt display of disappointment or "BASH" (as you call it) is without merit and without its own positive repercussions. According to your relativism my words here in this forum should count as much as Lemon's. Or do you veto my words because they are, gasp, "negative"?
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@johnthepalm Also, this poem is not one of my faves. I actually clicked on it by accident. So i won't be defending it. To me a key ingredient in a good poem is sincerity (which is why I mentioned "truth"). As far as the delivery, Taylor Mali makes some of the same observations you did. But i wouldn't lump all the poets together. I don't have a box that neatly fits what is good vs. bad poetry. If you feel the need to do that..... enjoy yourself.
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 I don't expect you to agree with me. Our argument has come up because our viewpoints are opposed. But I do think you are quite wrong, but a lot of things you have written might have appealed to me when I was about 20. I don't say this to be condescending but to illustrate that I have thought about what you are saying and I have come to the conclusion that it is wrong. If you have can find something insightful from one of these poets please quote it, as I have seen nothing...
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@johnthepalm Your use of the phrase "eurocentric" is quite interesting. Of course I have mentioned many poets who are not European in our discussion, but maybe you mean something else when you use that word. Maybe you would like to elaborate.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 ...with one exception so far. You recommended a poem recited by Phylicia Rashad. I did take your advice and listen to it. And I agree that it is very good. I then began searching for material by the poet (her mother) Vivian Elizabeth Ayers. Of course this is not by any of these contemporary poets, but a work from the era of Langston Hughes. As far as me being "hostile", if you are of the impression that my criticisms are personal, read more carefully.

Learn and you will be free.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@john *SIGH* so condescending. I didn't "shut down my mind" You decided I was wrong. What is left to debate? I'm too busy debating, fighting for things that matter and creating programs that supplement the academic education of teens with a professional and financial education. This is a release for me. Not something for me to condemn or approve or enforce my opinion of as fact. So just leave it at that.
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 I am surprised to learn that you "debate", as you appear to be anti-debate, that is you only debate with me about all the ways one shouldn't debate. Come to think of it you remind me of that Monty Python skit, about the argument clinic. You are right about me being "condescending", I don't reproach that label. It's a learning tool. But I can't teach if you can't learn. Feel free to give up on this any time. I'll stop posting.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 ...also, I posted other comments meant for you last night, but accidentally posted them to myself. If you scroll through you'll see my comments about: Phylicia Rashad's reading and my complimentary explanation of the work she is reading; a question about your use of the word "eurocentric". You can quit this conversation any time you want, but I'll keep posting, as eventually you may be lucky enough to see that people like me are the only hope for literacy in civilization.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@johnthepalm "people like me are the only hope for literacy in civilization." Well then, you should get to work and stop wasting time in here with your critique of poets who are paying you no attention and myself who has moved on.
captainterrible525 1 year ago
@captainterrible525 It's only a waste if you don't get it. The fact that you engaged me in an argument suggests behind all that pride you may be willing to see the light.
johnthepalm 1 year ago
@john "I don't expect you to agree with me. Our argument has come up because our viewpoints are opposed." You have decided that I am wrong and you are right. So, if we agree that we disagree then your continuing posts serve no purpose other than to feed YOUR ego. "You can quit this conversation any time you want, but I'll keep posting" okay
captainterrible525 1 year ago

Is this clear enough? ...strangely you still haven't responded directly to most of my comments, and I sense you realize that your argument in coming apart at the seams, so this would be a good time for you to save face and give up.

everything is ALWAYS based on faith, when you look back far enough
most of the time, it's faith in the white collar.. other times it's faith in the white coat.
but when u look back far enough, everything we believe, we believe on faith...there's never absolute proof of anything.

am i a rythmless void for being mesmerized by the universe and this wonderful part of it called the human mind, and still not believing in any religions, gods or anything "supernatural" (whatever that might mean..)? does the search for truth, and not assumption of things on faith make me a rythmless void?

I think what he's saying is that you have to believe in something. He's not saying that something is god or life after death or anything. He's expressing that you have to put your faith somewhere, even if it's not something most would attest to faith.
AbstractPoetNerd 1 year ago
@AbstractPoetNerd well, i do appreciate you reading in to this and joining me in thought over this, but just the use of the word faith leaves me unconfortable. Are you using it in a "devotion" or "deep appreciation" type way? cause if so i defenetly agree with you. I just wouldn't use the word faith because I can't stand the concept the word defines most of the time... meh x/ lol
willshakeyou 1 year ago
@willshakeyou I can understand your mixed emotions over the word "faith" and the meaning it might usually evoke. I put my faith into things like hard work, thinking logically, and making a better life for myself. Faith is simply something everyone has and puts to use in different ways. Religious faith, moral faith, etc. Always different kinds. You can definitely have faith in trying to develop a better understanding of the world that surrounds you and certainly with no religious undertones.
AbstractPoetNerd 1 year ago
@AbstractPoetNerd yeah but still it's really hard not to associate the word faith with "believe without proof or inspite proof" and i try not to have that at all in my life. but i understand what you mean and I agree with you... =)
