The song the Sagamo is singing at the ending is the traveling song. Our warriors would sing it as they paddled in towards the village after a battle or hunting party. You would paddle to the beat of the song, so naturally, it speeds up as you get closer to shore and more excited to see your relatives again.
As for learning it, these are the songs we've listened to since birth essentially. Think of it like how you know all the timing and lyrics to your favorite song.
