None, this is one of the more embarrassing hockey programs to come out of Utah. Only a couple kids from Utah only made it to the NA. The only exception would be Dylan Olsen, but he moved to Canada for bantams, so little of his success is due to Utah hockey.

Triple-A hockey up here in Ontario is much more difficult. I just recently tried out for my high school's junior team, filled with experienced Rep players and it was still much more intense than this. Hockey is Canada's game.
our manitoban highschool team (which is between AAA and AA) went to nashville and we played the AAA State Champs and beat them 6-1, does that say anything about hockey developement in Canada compared to thestates? GO CANADA!

When I play Midget AAA up in the Northern East Coast the hockey was just as physical as any team I have played from Canada. I like Canadian hockey because there is more hitting and when you fight the other guy drops the mitts and bucket. But it depends on the team not where they're from.
american would be good at hockey if they could and be physical but they just cant. at least every american team ive played couldnt not bad hockey but they cant handle the physical play
For whoever wants to hear about a kid who went from low level to NHL, check out David Perron. Played Midget B at 16 years old but still made it into the NHL and through hard work is on the Blues after the pre-season camp.
iBradyniollie they do it becuz they love the game and if they do that they will go farther in hockey almost every single player in the NHL played AAA hockey when they were a kid im not saying any of them will go 2 the NHL but they could go 2 collage junior A and go from there
this team would get spanked by minnesota hichschools class AA like Minnetonka, edina, eden praire, duluth east, roasea, blaine....even small schools class A....STA, mahtomedi, warroad, virginia, duluth marshal, hermontown....lol these kids should just go to highschool in the north see if they can hang
do you have to be on these sorts of teams to make it to the NHL or can you play for like any team and also play like varsity in high school, then college hockey?
You don't have to have played on high level teams, but it's unlikely you'll make a high level college team with only high school varsity experience unless you either had amazing stats (about a 3 point to 1 game ratio, most likely) or you practice REALLY hard to improve and impress the college coaches firsthand in a camp/tryout or whatever scouting events the team has (most have some kind of event like that).
As for NHL, you're not gonna jump straight in from high school. One step at a time.
Yeah, three points a game. It's not an exact measurement though.
But it's extremely unlikely a high level scout will come watch any high school games, even if you're REALLY good. To maximize your chances of playing high level hockey you're better off taking the Juniors or AAA route (I'm assuming you're from the U.S., sorry if your not) because NCAA/USHL/OHL teams generally recruit from Juniors/AAA and the NHL from the NCAA/USHL/OHL.
sure why not, you have to lift, and run when not playing. Dont drink eat right and work hard. Also play harder than everyone around you. I played AAA midget minor and the played HS for my junior/ senior year. I didnt make a top college team but then again I didnt try to but who knows work hard and know that there are many very good hs players that go to colleges

Let me put it too you this way - When I played elite hockey in Toronto (Marlboros) we played all you US teams and they were good games. We won most and lost some. Little Ceasers always had a good team @ my age group. I am just going to take Toronto - if we put our best kids on one team - no US squad would come close - only other Cdn super teams could compete. Canada rules the hockey world at every level... if we made all-star teams from our big centres - look the fuck out! GO CANADA GO!

I'm 35 now. When I played they had a stong team...because I have been out of it for awhile...things may have changed. With all this being said - The Americans would own us in Baseball - Football and basketball. Hockey is our sport and we do excel - there is no question aboot that!
@hockeydp we get 2000+ fan during regular season 5000+ during sections and 18,000+ during state. numerous players going to juniors, d1 and going into nhl draft this year. on my team we have a player who is projected to go 13th overall and will play for the uofm this year. another going to BC, another going to Union, and another goin to Colorado college. not to mention the other guys who are going to plar DIII. and juniors such as the NAHL and USHL. minnesota hockey is stacked with talent...

When I play Midget AAA up in the Northern East Coast the hockey was just as physical as any team I have played from Canada. I like Canadian hockey because there is more hitting and when you fight the other guy drops the mitts and bucket. But it depends on the team not where they're from.

For whoever wants to hear about a kid who went from low level to NHL, check out David Perron. Played Midget B at 16 years old but still made it into the NHL and through hard work is on the Blues after the pre-season camp.

You don't have to have played on high level teams, but it's unlikely you'll make a high level college team with only high school varsity experience unless you either had amazing stats (about a 3 point to 1 game ratio, most likely) or you practice REALLY hard to improve and impress the college coaches firsthand in a camp/tryout or whatever scouting events the team has (most have some kind of event like that).
As for NHL, you're not gonna jump straight in from high school. One step at a time.

Yeah, three points a game. It's not an exact measurement though.
But it's extremely unlikely a high level scout will come watch any high school games, even if you're REALLY good. To maximize your chances of playing high level hockey you're better off taking the Juniors or AAA route (I'm assuming you're from the U.S., sorry if your not) because NCAA/USHL/OHL teams generally recruit from Juniors/AAA and the NHL from the NCAA/USHL/OHL.
You have to both play well and get lucky.

sure why not, you have to lift, and run when not playing. Dont drink eat right and work hard. Also play harder than everyone around you. I played AAA midget minor and the played HS for my junior/ senior year. I didnt make a top college team but then again I didnt try to but who knows work hard and know that there are many very good hs players that go to colleges

it seems like every AAA american team i see on youtube is just shit i dont no if its becqause its in a video or what? but when MY A tem went over there and played AA americans they were good games. but i think the americans combind there age groups but i think they stop in bantam so i think thts it. BUT canasian hockey is better but i should be on the AA team but its all about size in my city.

saying canadian hockey is better then american hockey is pointless. every white kid in canada has held a hockey stick for more then a year. and it snows for more then half the year. unless ur from toronto, but even then there are outdoor rinks around every other corner.

Let me put it too you this way - When I played elite hockey in Toronto (Marlboros) we played all you US teams and they were good games. We won most and lost some. Little Ceasers always had a good team @ my age group. I am just going to take Toronto - if we put our best kids on one team - no US squad would come close - only other Cdn super teams could compete. Canada rules the hockey world at every level... if we made all-star teams from our big centres - look the fuck out! GO CANADA GO!

I'm 35 now. When I played they had a stong team...because I have been out of it for awhile...things may have changed. With all this being said - The Americans would own us in Baseball - Football and basketball. Hockey is our sport and we do excel - there is no question aboot that!

@hockeydp we get 2000+ fan during regular season 5000+ during sections and 18,000+ during state. numerous players going to juniors, d1 and going into nhl draft this year. on my team we have a player who is projected to go 13th overall and will play for the uofm this year. another going to BC, another going to Union, and another goin to Colorado college. not to mention the other guys who are going to plar DIII. and juniors such as the NAHL and USHL. minnesota hockey is stacked with talent...

@fcntheminn I didn't say the US has no talent, I said Canada has more talent. The WHL is the most popular Junior league where players get drafted into the NHL. It doesn't really matter how many fans you get per game, does it? Who's your best Bantam Tier 1 team in Minnesota? Shattuck? Oh well we beat them with a typical AAA team here in Canada.

@hockeydp that is our only regular season AAA team here...and the Bantam A team i played on beat them, but that was a couple years ago, freshman year. but my HS team beat Their U18s...... oh and since my last post we just had 2 guys sign with Anchorage Alaska, D1..... but our upper midwest elitle league (est. 2006) during the fall is loaded with talent, here ya go ://.hselitehockey./page/show/46908-nhl-draft-picks

@hockeydp dustin byfuglien 245th overall, 2003. i can give you tons of examples. just cause you're drafted in top 10 doesn't mean anything. Byfuglien is doing better than alot of the guys who were drafted in the first round in 2003.
