@djnauk1977 Firstly, I do not understand why people have a high tendency to "label" everything as such, the best thing to do is observe the problems that our society creates and make the proper adjustments, even if we have to borrow ideals/ideas from other systems whether it be socialism/capitalism/all the other isms. Secondly, what makes our modern society horrible is our invention of money, it creates the inability to intelligently manage our resources and environment due to cyclical consuming

the main problem with this whole talk is shes confusing corporatism/socialism ie: crony capitalism (what we have now) a government controlled economy... vs truly free markets (ie: laissez faire capitalism) which is what we need to work towards to save the planet & start a moral system up, so i agree with her stance but shes not labelling things correctly at all

shes so right, this corporatist/socialist system has to go... we need to have truly free markets for people to become truly free & protect the environment... government are th ebiggest polluters & destroyers of the environment on the planet... not to mention the corporations/banks that government create & force conditions for them to thrive in.

problem is, people continue to breed beyond replacement capacity, and the capitalists' "brainwashing" marketing techniques have become more advanced. Ad to this the fact that humans have become mesmerized with their fancy gadgets and can no longer think straight.

@Anubis7169 It is pretty sad. I easily debunk the argument by saying you call a car a car but you don't call a truck a car. They have far more in common with each other and it's few differences that set them apart and justifies calling it something else. They can say they are both vehicles to which I say social systems are vehicles that drive society. I also inform them a skateboard is also considered a vehicle so vehicles can also have very little in common. They don't like me much lol
