Ok, if I'm getting into RC, can I learn with this? Could this be used as a trainer? I know you said it's more for intermediate. I used to be into planes but that was about 14 years ago.

For a beginner, how stable is in flight?

If not, could you recommend some RTFs that come as complete and simple as this but are trainers?

@heronblackmane I would not start out on this plane, but rather a high wing trainer like the sensei or switch.

Great flight, but i own a turbo 22 verry similer, i would recomend it to a beginer who had a few flights under his or her belt it will give them the confadance to fly other more advanced aricraft.....n e ways this was my steping stone from gliders to the stryker Q-27...Again Great flight!

hmm, i might have to upgrade to this plane after i master the airfield/fms sky trainer 182. that corvalis is a stunning aircraft, but i think the best feature is the shock strut, which that 182 should have. thank you for the in-depth review!

...and the lights do look pretty awesome. Definitely a selling point along with the option to field or home charge. Why can't all companies include those options? Oh, that's right, places like Horizon would rather rip you off by giving you an under-powered battery that last for 10 charge cycles, and give you a field charger so you have to buy the stupid AC adapter.

Looks to be exactly the same as the ST Models Cessna 350. What are the differences between these two models? If the nose wheel assembly breaks do you have to cut away a lot of foam to replace it? Thanks Eric for another review.

@grahamlwilson I'm not familiar with that model so I can't say right now. If you damage the nose wheel you have to remove the lower part of the cowl to replace it. It is held to the plane with glue, but if you are careful and use a razor it comes off easily.

@turtlechef72 It would be great if I could get the hobby companies to send me stuff for review. Then I wouldn't have to spend so much, but this is my favorite hobby though. The Focke wulfe is a good plane. Be sure to balance it before the first flight. I think I added 1/4 oz of weight to the tail to balance mine. The flaps and retracts are really cool on that plane.
