i always felt bad for him harry never gave the credit he diserverd. he called weasleys his family ron his brother same with all the family he thought ginny as a sister before book 6. hermione was a sister. but sirus was more of a dad.he never thought of him as a uncle even thoe he was like a brother to james
turns out he and tonks would have lived but rowling said she had to decide between a uncle figure to harry. so if not lupin then it would have been mr weasley. so he chose lupin cours she wanted to end the maruaders and redo the james and lilly story both died fighting for there child to live . tonks died because she got distracted by lupin falling that she did not notice bellatrix
