@beautybbybrunette and @rodolfo1114 Little Albert lived with his mother in the Harriet Lane Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. His mother worked at the hospital. However, shortly after completion of the experiment, he left the hospital and according to Watson, he was unable to uncondition his fear because he had been adopted by a family in another city shortly afterwards.................thats exactly what my college Psychology book says.
@rashin1981 College textbooks do contain errors and if that's what your book says then it is incorrect. The research described here by Hall Beck is the very latest information we have on what happened to "Little Albert".
Nice story, but there are several problems with it. For example, Watson once wrote that Albert left the hospital when he was adopted, whereas Douglas Merritte was NOT adopted. It is also likely that Douglas was too old to have been Albert. See:
Little Albert, lost or found: Further difficulties with the Douglas Merritte hypothesis.

Well Done!!!

Confidentiality meaning they can’t put real things on his file so that makes it even harder to find the real information. Thank You Hall Beck.

It's quite possible that Douglas was not Albert.

@beautybybrunette No - he wasn't an orphan. His mother worked at John's Hopkins hospital where the studies were conducted.
