I've never beaten any of the House of the Dead games. House of the Dead 3, or the final boss, was a real bastard. There didn't appear to be anything to stop it.

The first one was fun as hell though.

That's because the player wanted more accuracy. Shooting to the legs still gives him damage but less, so you can just waste lots of clips on him without getting damaged (You can just shake the gun to get out of his hands, but making him do that for more than three times is more likely to be a death wish.).

If the boss was covering his mouth with his hands, you could see how they just pro-ly shoot at his tongue. He won't grab but kick you if you're slow.

That's because pro players don't want their guns to be damaged by the one's using G (The public, srsly, everyone else just uses him.), people still use the cheap method of on-screen reloading, leaving fingerprints on their guns. Ruining the gameplay for everyone. Using the second gun is most probably the better choice.

How come u shoot its leg and not its tongue?

It's harder to shoot to shoot the tongue while it is moving, and also, it is not an essential weakpoint while being chased. The leg is bigger, therefore easier to shoot and is also classed as a weakpoint. But don't try and shoot the leg when u're being picked up, only shoot the tongue in that situation.

And it increases your accuracy (Seriously, it does.) immensely. I usually get around 60%, but when I shoot Justice in the leg, it shot up to about 65-68%. Its those small things that decide if its a rank A or S in the end.

@ccsanta785 I know it's a bit late of a response but, its because it increases your over all accuracy and during those particular bits he only picks you up,it's a cheap way to get your accuracy rating up.

They say it increases the accuracy points.His/her/it`s behaviour tells you when you shoot his leg; do it when he RUNS to gain more accuracy points which affects the rank.
