I don't think Arnel Pineda is the best singer. Steve Perry is still the best. However, Arnel Pineda is, in my opinion, as good as Steve Perry. The first time I heard Arnel sing, it brought chills to me and I swore that it was Steve Perry. Randy Jackson of American Idol said that he talked to Steve Perry a few years ago and he still sounds the same...still has 'the voice'.
