even a Viggen can catch up with SR 71 and get lock on, true story because it has happend. but SR 71 is absolute faster so in speed lvl it's no worries

@marder666 True, I remember reading about that, the Americans would fly them over the Baltic and the Swedish Airforce would scramble and manage to get a lock, even though the target is roaring away at Mach 3. The Viggen was such a cool plane, it is a shame it has been retired, the STOL capabilities of that plane were awesome... The Gripen is also a cool plane, but it really isn't as mighty as the Viggen.

No. You'll get X-02 by getting all missions done with S rank on at least normal difficulty, and complete the game twice.

Very nice. Unfortunately, even shooting down the SR-71 in all three missions, you can't fly it =(. The X-02 is the most advanced plane you're able to buy in the game. The X-02 is very advanced and has extreme mobility no matter what your speed is. Considering the SR-71 is far more advanced than the X-02, if it were playable, it would make the game way too easy lol. Very nice vid, thanks!

@0418Buddy You say it would make the game easier. . . It would IF it carried munitions. Seeing as the SR-71 is strictly recon I don't see it carrying a single missile any time soon.

well I doubt a X-02 could keep up with a SR-71 let alone know it was their but at least the game had the fact that you couldn't hold the same altitude as it could...lol he couldn't keep a lock cuz he was stalling out so much, just the fact that he was able to get to it was a feat in its self...so great flying =D

Duh it''s an X-02 I tell you that on the little annonation and it tells you when you select the plane...and if ur talking about the "ACE" plane that's an SR-71
