At the end of the song, when Catch Wreck says that black people have suffered years of oppression, he isn't talking about slavery. He's talking about in he 20s-50s when segregation was legal, & in the 60s-70s when civil rights were looked down upon. Slavery was 100+ years ago and isn't an issue. Even today, I still feel the waves of racism. Even being an educated black female in the south, I have been denied A LOT because of my race. Like he said, there is still a lot that needs to be done.

WATSKY is definitely the 1st of his kind, an artist in it's purest form and Catch Wreck emphasises the state of HipHop he's uncomfortable with... so what. Watsky wins that debate, but ya'll getting all 'Whites Win' about it just taints Watsky's point to the fullest.
